A wonderful book, as is her other one. I couldn't be without it. These workouts form my daily practice and since doing them, my voice has grown leaps and bounds! A wonderful book for singing teachers and students alike - I have a very well used, dog eared copy that I have referred and used in my group and one-to-one lessons a lot as a great introduction to singing but also for professional singers looking for a good guided warm up.

I was not shure what was this book about,but in the end i got very happy with it. it has chapters about exercises and techniques with a cd, and score. and has others chapters explaining what is this instrument - our voice.what care we should take whit it.teaches the correct position you should have while singing. and what should be your posture in stage while performing, and in an audition. it has tree songs to learn and they come with score.

Esta es la biblia del canto contemporáneo, perfecta para alumnos iniciales o intermedios que necesiten reforzar algunos temas. Trae una clave para acceder a los audios en la página de Hal Leonard; sin embargo, la mayor fuerza de este material son los conceptos teóricos; perfectamente entendible cubriendo temas esenciales como postura, respiración, registros, consejos para interpretar frente a público. Respecto de los audios, son pocas vocalizaciónes (aprox 25) pero dan un plus, al usar ritmos interesantes, escala pentatónica menor, etc y se correlacionan con la teoría. Ojo: importante recalcar que está completamente en inglés.
