Spider Web Silicone Mold for Halloween

It's ok
Spider web is very small I will try to see if it still works. The skull or head on top of the spider looks like a defect I would have preferred no spider or the skull for as small as it is. Still you get what you pay for.

Tiny molds, don't really work
I really don't like writing bad reviews, but these are useless as molds. They are so tiny the chocolate can barely get in let alone get out! I kept them in case I could figure out something to use them for but they should be thrown out! They just don't work

Not for chocolate or fondant
Would be great for resin projects.

Too small to fill
I was very excited to get this mold to add some chocolate spiders to a Halloween cake but it's so small the chocolate cools before I can get it filled properly. I like the spider shapes but I can't use it.

Only use spider web for sugar lace
I will say this. Do not use the spider web part for anything but sugar lace if you're using it for cake/cookie decorating. The spiders themselves are good for anything else. That being said, I went out and found a simple sugar lace recipe (which you can get all of the ingredients on Amazon,) and tried the spider web. It came out BEAUTIFULLY after a two hour wait. It's going to be a perfect fit for a bridal veil on some cookies that are being given out as wedding favors. I would have taken a picture of the finished product, but I did them in yellow because I couldn't find where the black food gel went. But rest assured... The ones I did were nice.. easy to come out of the mold.
