The WEN router delivers solid power and precision, making it a great tool for woodworking. It’s easy to use and offers adjustable settings, but ultimately, it wasn’t the right model for my needs. While it performed well, I needed different features, so I returned it for a better fit. Still, for the right user, it’s a reliable and budget-friendly option.

My first router. Worked very well. Like the delayed spin up. Chip vac adapter worked well. Motor has the chops , make sure guides are solid, hold tight.

Great router. It came with a letter that said instead of using their template guide I could a plate that would let me use my own brass template guides. I have to hand it to Wen they listen and fix any problem the customers have. The new plate cost $10 but it is worth it. I highly recommend this router.

Love this router! This is almost a commercial grade router. Very heavy duty. The plunge is smooth and the router is super easy to set up. I would definitely buy again but I think this one will last my life time.

A lot of power (15 amps) for the price. It is heavy, so I decided to mount it in my Bosch router table and use the lighter, less powerful Bosch 1617 as a plunge router. Be aware that the collet cannot be mounted very close to the table top, so it is necessary to have extra-long bits to have enough usable cutting depth.

I bought this router to mostly flatten slabs, and larger cutting and charcuterie boards that wouldn't fit through my planer. Once its running it does a good job. Enough power to make 1/8 or a little more cuts with only a small amount of bogging down. The glaring problem...... the trigger for starting and stopping the router. A on of switch would be much better. Moving the slabbing jig, and making sure your hand doesn't move on the trigger makes things more difficult than they should be. Any movement of that trigger and the router goes off. Not the safest thing to do, but I have resorted to a clamp to keep the router running constantly so I can concentrate more on the cutting.

Wow. Great deal. Not as fancy as my 1617EVS. Lots of plastic parts. Having said that, this is IDEAL for a router table or, as I use it, in a slab flattening jig. Decent speed control. Comes with some parts you likely won't ever use but the case is kind of nice for storage. I am impressed so far.

elle travaille trés bien, beaucoup de puissance mais il y a de pieces perdues, dans mon cas il me manque un vis papillon ( knob spring part No 6033-033 et 10 mm Knob part No 6033-038 ) pour serrer la tige de la guide de cloture (la guide que vous placez sur le borde du bois ) et aussi une petite ecrou (part No 6033-077 Nut M4 ) qui vient avec les vis qui tiennent la piece pour collecter la poussiere. J'ai déjà une autre machine Wen laquelle a fonctionné très bien, ce qui a pesé tres fort au moment de choisir celle-ci. Si n'est que pour la manque des pieces je crois que cette machine merite 5 etoiles puisque elle est tout ce que j'attendai d'elle.
