Part failed prematurely
The part stopped working in less than 4 months

Lasted 15 months then shorted out
Worked well nonstop for 15 months. Great power output level for a fountain. Then I heard an electrical short sound and smelled electric short burning odor. Pump was still functioning but the water had a grease slick. The light stopped working about a month prior. This was a for decorative fountain. If it was a fish tank, there might be any more fish. Or if a human touched the water, would it be dangerous? I don't know. Glad I was home to hear it and unplug the pump. Too bad, it was a good price and worked perfectly until it died. Couldn't find any contact info for the company, so time to try another brand.

Quiet and powerful
Bought this pump as a replacement for a Lowe's multi level fountain. Works just fine for moving the water. The LED light is ok, but didn't work for my application. I did know it wouldn't work ahead of time, just wanted the pump. 5 stars!
