Best New Purchase
I bought these 2XU Non-Stirrup Compression Calf Guard in a Medium. I wasn't sure about the sizing I was right on the border with a small. But thought I would size up I didn't want them to cut off my circulation. I am pleased with the sizing choice. They are a firm fit but not too tight. I love that they are the LYCRA material which is very smooth and soft against the skin.I bought these for two reasons, I am currently injured recovering from a ruptured achilles tendon, and I am lying down a good portion of the day. So I wanted to have these on to help with circulation.Second reason is when I do go back to work, I have a job where I stand for my entire shift.I can't believe I never bought any of these sooner. Once I go back to work I will be buying many more pairs of these calf guards. I love the black but will also buy them in other colours. They are very comfortable I even forgot I had them on.I also like that they are SPF 50+ always a good bonus. They look very nice on.My only complaint for these is that I wish they were a few inches longer. My legs are very long, and it would be nice if I had the sleeve extend a bit further down my ankle.I like the way that these sleeves come packaged as well.Awesome purchase, they are exactly as shown in the picture and even after the first use i can say these are great for me.

Happy Chicken Legs!
I have been training for my first marathon and developed tendinitis in my lower leg about a month ago. It would really flare up after long runs and i wouldn't be able to walk without a limp for days after. Even when the pain subsided, it would never go away completely. My PT wife told me to look into compression sleeves and i found these had pretty decent ratings. I have very skinny 13" calves (hence the title), so i ordered these in XS. They arrived this afternoon and I have to say the effect has been transformational! I hobbled my way to the mailbox to get these and after I slipped them on, I am able to walk with barely a limp! I am no medical professional, but this is as close to a medical marvel as I have experienced. The pain is significantly diminished wearing the sleeve even just walking around the house. Now, I haven't run with these, but I do have a 20-miler this weekend, and I plan on running with them on. Will report back if there are updates, but so far, I am extremely happy with this purchase.UPDATE (2 weeks later): I've been wearing the compression sleeve on my bad leg almost everyday and it has definitely helped with pain reduction. I wore them on my 20-mile run without any discomfort, and even though I'm tapering before the race, I keep them on even on my shorter runs. Very pleased with the quality of the product - they haven't lost their form or shape even after daily wear.

Works as it should
These are definitely thinner than some of the others, but they still work ok. I use them more for competing because of this, and I use the heavier ones like the Red Lions with more graduated compression to recover. The 2XU's don't feel graduated really, they are more like the compression top material. The elastane is really comfortable and retains its shape well without being harsh on your skin. The lengths are also good, and they are easy to put on and take off.I can't sing lots of praises for these because the problem I had was not immediately solvable with a compression sleeve. My ankle muscles were weakened through injuries and needed rehab, as such my shins and calves were overcompensating and complaining. My Red Lions actually caused my legs more discomfort, but in a good way. They uncovered the real problem and enabled me to correct it by reducing the involvement of my calves and shins so I could really train my ankles to a good level of strength and proprioception. For those who had pain or splints due to other reason, these may definitely work wonders.

I strongly recommend and endorse these N2's compression sleeves.
I have cramping issues - serious cramping issues. I require strong compression with a snug fit but not so tight as to feel uncomfortable especially because I need to wear my sleeves all nigh while I sleep and frequently during most days. So I also need a good quality sleeze that will take the wear and tear while retaining it's compression qualities. That's hard to find in a compression sleeve. Believe me, I know. I've bought no end of compression sleeves trying to find the right one that fits right and feels comfortable enough to wear for many hours. Thankfully I can now stop looking since I discovered these N2's. These are perfect for me. Yes, they are pricey but no other sleeve offers this level of "therapeutic quality" at a lesser price. Nothing even comes close.N2's are a prime example of "getting what you pay for." They are expensive but also well worth the price. They are so superior to the multiple other compression sleeves I have bought and worn that I now will only buy and wear N2's. I can honestly say they help me. And I mean a lot. I wear them constantly. I have come to rely on them. They have practically eliminate my cramping problems. I give these N2's my highest possible recommendation and endorsement for that reason.I haven't received anything from anyone for this honest evaluation.

Best Compression
First go-to any time I have sore calves. Easy to pull on/off, snug but not tight, able to leave on comfortably for longer periods of time without feeling like I'm losing circulation in my legs. It's like a soft hug for your calves and always seems to help with my recovery.

good sleeve, but not for tall people
I'm 6'3" and have a fairly long (35") inseam, so I was nervous buying a sleeve that was one size fits all. I definitely was right - this sleeve covers approximately 2/3 of the calf on me. The feedback from my wife, who is now the owner of them is positive so far though. Width wise, definitely follow the sizing chart - I was surprised I was a small in these and a large in salomon, but both seem accurate other than length.
