I strained my calf muscle putting on a pair of jeans (getting old is the pits) and could not put any pressure on my leg at all without being in agony. Doctor said take ibuprofen, use crutches, and wear an ace bandage. I am too clumsy for crutches, and my wrapping skills had a lot to be desired: too tight, and I was cutting off circulation; too loose and the compression was ineffective; placement seemed too high or low. I read a lot of reviews to see if there was a product that could help me, and came across this one. It deserves the high ratings others have given. Do not be intimidated if you're not an athlete, as many reviewers are. This was so easy to put on, could be tightened with Velcro to adjust the fit, and was not at all bulky (fit under my khakis/jeans as long as I wasn't wear Skinny fit). But the best thing about this was how much better my strain, after only 1 day of use. My skin did get a bit warm/sweaty because of the neoprene, but it had no bad odor, and the heat seemed to help.I will buy this brand/product without hesitation!

I rarely take the time to actually leave reviews for my purchases, but felt it necessary for this one. I've been dealing with a pretty bad calf tear for going on 6 months now. In the beginning, I wore a boot, did PT for months, etc. Yet there is still pain today. I've been wearing this for about 3 days now pretty constantly with the exception of sleeping and showering and it is AMAZING! Literally the first time I put it on, there was instant relief. I can get through the day wearing this without having to take any pain meds and have minimal pain, it's great! I wish I had this from the beginning. It's so much better than any of the pull-up compression sleeves as it's easier to get on and of course adjustable to any size calf/leg. I actually still have some swelling so once the swelling goes down this will still fit. If you are dealing with any sort of lower leg injury, this product is the way to go!

There were good reviews on this item. However, it did not fit my needs. The reasons being is that it had a chemical type smell and it didn’t fit me because it’s made for a man I believe and I am a smaller woman.

I work at Walmart as a shopper so I’m constantly walking a super Walmart from 5am to 2 pm and couldn’t where compression socks (just not comfortable) and it felt like I was walking on bones . Put this on to try and it was great my leg didn’t hurt at all baught another one for my other leg looooove this

I have tried a lot of compression sleeves since tearing a calf muscle 6 months ago during a tennis match, and this one is by far the best. I don't need compression any more for walking, but I am back to playing tennis 4-5 times a week now and wanted something very firm to wear for support while playing. The fit is fully adjustable and I can cinch it down very tightly if I want to. The neoprene keeps the muscles warm and relaxed too, which feels good and would seem beneficial for prevention of re-injury. I have washed and air dried it numerous times. It is holding up great. It's looks slightly bulky but isn't too heavy and performs like a charm. I wish I had this during the initial weeks after the injury for general walking and recovery. A great item - if you want a serious calf sleeve this is it.

I ripped my calf muscle about a week ago during a riding lesson. I didn't realize how bad it was until this morning after a lesson yesterday. It didn't hurt to ride but when i got off the horse, I could barely walk. This morning I was in agony putting pressure on my leg. I made it through the day because I sit at a computer all day but every time I had to walk somewhere the pain was 10 out of 10. I ordered same day delivery on this brace, especially after all the 5 star reviews. I put it on and the pain lessened significantly. I can now at least walk without agony. I'm hoping that with the brace, my calf muscle will heal and I can get back to riding. I highly recommend this.

Great product. I started using this product when I developed severe shin splits due to increasing running mileage too quickly. My physician advised me to stay off of my legs for two weeks and then gradually ease back into my routine. I'm sort of a running freak so I only partially followed his advice. Ha! I tried a highly recommended/reputable running sleeve for a few days but found no relief. I read the reviews on this product and decided to give it a try. I still had some pain the first time I used it, but that pain was more manageable than with the sleeve. After using it for a few runs I found it to be just what I needed. It allowed me continue to run albeit not the usual milage. I couldn't even run without severe pain before I used it and was forced to skip several days. Great product. It delivers on it's advertisement. My only hiccup is using this product under my winter running tights. It's a bit bulky. But, hey . . . I'll trade bulky over pain any day!! Go get you one!
