Etch Remover, 8-Ounce

Had a patch of dull marble flooring and now I don’t. Extremely toxic so use gloves. It takes a bit of muscle power to rub and shine this on but it’s well worth it to fix damaged marble

My tenants left a lot of etching on my vanity counters. A lot were easily removed with a lot of elbow grease but the ones I assume were from cleaning bottles were unable to be removed.

I bought the Lustro Italiano Etch Remover two years ago to remove etch marks on my two Carrera marble vanity tops. I was somewhat skeptical that it would work, and I was hesitant to use it in case it ruined the marble. Yesterday, I finally got up the nerve to try it, and I am so glad that I did. After watching the Lustro Italiano video (which I recommend), I applied the remover and worked it around the faucets. This area had been dull ever since installation, so I didn't expect much difference. After about 5 minutes I could see a reflection in the marble. I was so delighted by the results that I worked on the etch marks. I'm not sure what caused them but they were in a spray pattern all over the vanity. It took only about 5 minutes of working on each section and the etch marks were gone. I could have left it there but I went over the vanity top again, and they now gleam. It took me a total of approximately 2 hours start to finish on each vanity top. I used a dampened paper towel and about a tablespoon of the compound for each 4-6" section. I worked in a circular motion, and ensured that I didn't leave any of the mix on the countertop for too long. After the area was completed I used a wet cloth to wipe of the residue and then buffed with a dry cloth. I then sealed the countertop. I ventilated the area, covered the floor with newspaper and wore rubber gloves while working. I highly recommend this product. I was concerned about using it, but now my countertops look beautiful, and I am very glad that I decided to try it.

I used this to restore my travertine floor in my laundry room. The floor is travertine tile and had been severely etched by urine-soaked doggie wee-wee pads that I had put on the floor prior to washing. There wasn't much of the floor that hadn't been etched by the urine and I had been leaving urine-soaked pads on the floor over the last ten years. I was in a bit of a panic when the floor wouldn't hold a satin finish shine, and I could see tons of etch circles all over.There was so much damage, I couldn't rub the etching out by hand. Actually, with the amount of damage, there was no way the etching could be manually buffed out. I used my husband's "Meguiar's MT300 Dual Action Variable Speed Polisher" that he bought for the cars, and a Meguiar's buffing pad with the Etch product. I followed the instructions on the product, and amazingly it worked, and it worked extremely well. I had to go over some areas 2-3 times to bring the stain shine back.The product is in a very small bottle, its expensive, but a tiny bit goes a long way.Without this product, I would have spent thousands on a professional refinishing the travertine. With this product, ok, I spent a couple of hours and I'm sore in places I didn't know existed. I have pristine travertine floors and am so happy now.When I was using it, like the instructions say, I did have to repeat the process some two-three times before all the etch marks were gone. For my floor, this product had to be used with an orbital sander. There was no way that I would have had the muscle or stamina to do this job by hand; so consider a sander if you use the product and don't get any results. I also wanted to comment that most of the damage had to be resolved using the orbital sander. There is no way no hands and arms could have rubbed out the etching damage manually, so if you don't get results you want, you'll now know why.While expensive, so well worth it. Don't hesitate to use this.

This product removed a whole coffee table worth of either water stains or chemical cleaner marks. The table is Nero marquina marble. It shines now! I will happily purchase more as the whole tub was used doing the table. 1 tea spoon for 4 inches doesn’t go that far so bare this in mind if it is more than a small spot.
