I’ve many locks over the years but this was the most difficult. First off, the instructions are almost an afterthought with several disjointed inserts. Second installation requires drilling a hole to accommodate a third bolt but no template is included, so you’d better be lucky or a mathematician to get it right on first try (I’m neither). And thirdly, the instructions for mounting to a left or right hanging door is just the start of your frustrations as getting the correct adjustments so the locking mechanism actually functions is a joke. However if you have the skill, patience and luck to get it installed it works as advertised.

This is a really great lock. We installed it on a house we recently sold but got to use it for a few months and it worked great. Very easy to install and use. It connects to your phone to use. Easy to set up codes and change them when needed. I like the feature that automatically locks the door after 10 seconds after you open it form the outside. And that you can quickly lock it from the outside just by pressing the # kew. It does show finger prints after using it but I just got in the habit of wiping it off with my sleeve every so often.

The instructions for installing the lock and using the App are useless. The English translation is unintelligible. If you have no idea how to install a dead bolt or to pair and use a Bluetooth device this is not the device for you. I actually used a set of instructions from a different device that is similar to this one (the AKASO smart lock) and a YouTube video I found to aid me. Once it's installed and paired up it works like a champ.

We tried to install this guy on 3 separate occasions. Followed the instructions.The lock "works", but under no circumstance will the electronic control actuate the lock open or closed fully. it makes half movements.We installed another brand and it immediately worked. Waste of time and money.

Instructions were written in chinese and not able to understand what they were saying in english. Instructions were very blurry and some weird kinda back room copy machine. Product did not work properly and trying to get help provide futile. I would recommend Kwickset over this device.

Solid heavy and beautiful device but the software is buggy. Also the locking mechanism sometimes required two commands to unlock. Ended up sending back. Very disappointed. Bought two and they did on two different doors. They were installed perfectly with no obstructions and strong WiFi signal. Too buggy for a new device to have.

The hole isn't standarad so had to adjusted.It worked to lock it with the app but a lot of time doesn't work to unlock it. Still figuring out how to unlock it.The passcode we set up is not working. Is anyone have any ideas or suggestions?Thanks!

Sorry that i am going to be up front about this but when you pay a good price for a product you expect that to perform to certain standards that not being the case with this product, very difficult to install and impossible to program, I requested help from the manufacturer it's been almost 8 months and no a word from them and yo make matters worse the product just quit working and have to buy a new lockset. Word of advice do not even try it
