A quality watercolor set for a great price
I Love this watercolor set. They activate very easily & blend beautifully. A good mix of Reds, Yellows & Blues. I believe there are many single pigments in the set which is really helpful when just starting out in watercolor & learning to mix your colors. I would recommend this set for everyone but really a great set for someone who wants to begin in watercolor.

Great paint
I've been using these and MeiLiang for all recent paintings. They are not professional grade but are more then adequate for most work: flow well lift well, highly pigmented-- a superior student grade. They don't have the pigment load of professional, but I mostly don't need or want pigment that dense, and it's easy enough to just add another layer when I want more intensity-- or temporarily swith to a paint with more pigment, but that's rarely needed. The pigmets are listed so I know what I'm using, and often have only 1 or 2 pigments in a color. They don't use the most expensive pigments and I would not expect them to, but the ones used are good quality. I definitely prefer these to Van Gogh, and they are priced much better. Good box and palette, and lyout. Hard to go wrong buying these.

Surprisingly vivid and easy to work with
I didn’t know what to expect, it’s really hard to trust art supplies that claim to be professional, especially on this site. From reviews I’ve watch online this watercolor works like professional grade watercolors (meaning it disperses/flows well into water, it is intense in color/pigment load, it has strong color retaining ability in sunlight, it moves across good quality watercolor paper easily which makes washes and blends easier to accomplish). All of these it does. What shocked me was how well these watercolor paints worked even on lower quality pulp watercolor and mixed media paper, and even with water brushes. The paint stays smooth, wet, and able to flow or be moved longer than any dry watercolor pans I’ve ever worked with. There’s something I can’t describe that brings me a level of joy and excitement working with these paints that my other similarly priced sets don’t match. I regularly use Winsor Newton Cotman (and Phoenix which seems to be a very similar dupe) and MeiLiang (aka “Pretty Excellent”). Cotman is great if you want total control over colors staying exactly where you place them. MeiLiang is more slightly more intense but a little less controllable. This set is more like MeiLiang, but easier to work with (better flow, better gradient blending, slower drying time), better dried appearance especially of mass tone and dry on wet application), and richer colors once dried for most colors. I also really appreciate the range of floral and earth tones in this palette. Some colors require longer activation (the time between wetting the pan before loading your brush) to get full color depth, especially the metallics and pearl white. I think this will be a paint I stick with for a long time. It appears to perform as close to the top professional brands at half (or more) of the cost. I also love the fact these work well with all types of paper (even card stock) so I can use it for card making and mixed media adult coloring with colored pencils or water soluble colored pencils.

Good buy
Great value, fine quality watercolors. As you can see in the color swatch I made, there is a nice drift and range in each regular color. I reorganized them to a more preferred color order. The pearl, metallic, and white are not typical watercolors and do paint differently.

Great color variations, good for beginners
This set includes 48 different colors that look really good and have a good quality. This item is great for beginners as the set is fairly priced and the quality is good enough to work with. Keep in mind you would also need a good quality brushes with it. REMEMBER to not let the pans out for a long period of time so they won't dry out.

Not disappointed!
I bought due to great reviews and I'm not disappointed! I've been using Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolor paints, but these are superior, probably close to professional quality. The colors are vibrant and a little goes a long way. You can't beat the price!

Very nice watercolor paint set.
Smaller case than I expected, but all 24 half pans are there. Nothing bent or broken. The colors are lovely.

Far nicer than similarly priced brands I’ve tried
I just started trying to “art” a couple months ago and was using various paints I found on Amazon. I decided to get this 24 color set because I liked the tin container, the variety of colors, and the ability to replace the little pans. These paints are far better than the other kinds I’ve tried! Much easier to pick color up, and there are much nicer looking color mixes. I wish I had bought this a couple months ago.

Great beginner set
When I set out to trial watercolour sets, I had a pretty set criteria of things I was looking for. I wanted a set you could get in your hot little (Australian) hands in a relatively short time period, that was inexpensive, and would help budding watercolour artists succeed in painting, rather than battling poor quality paints. Bonus points if I could get it with 24 colours under $50AUD. Guys, this one does. It. All. I ordered the Mungyo Professional 24 Half Pan set from Amazon, and I had it open on my desk in less than a week. The half pans are housed in a lovely metal tin, and can easily be switched out when empty (or for other colors of your preference). There is also a extendable mixing palette which flips out. The paints come individually wrapped with paint information on each pan. The range of colours in the 24 pan set is decent. A few inclusions are odd (Naples yellow? OK….), the is there is the ever present (and still just as useless) white, and I’m mildly perplexed by the lack of ultramarine. But on the whole, there are a great selection to choose from and there are a good range of pinks and a decent violet. I keep banging on about these because they’re so crucial to making really vibrant multicolour pieces. These paints really came into their own when I started swatching. Mungyo is a korean brand, the same as my go-to Mijello Mission Gold. I could hardly tell the difference between these, and my considerably more expensive paints. They’re so vibrant and pigmented, they re-wet perfectly and there is not a scrap of chalkiness to them! They mix and flow beautifully with water. The only downside to these paints I can see is that they maaayyybe are a tad muddier than my Mission Gold paints in my heart painting test (on my standard Art Spectrum 60% cotton 300GSM paper). But honestly, look at this thing. It’s so bright. The colours are so clear. THESE ARE $50 PAINTS!! AND THEY COME WITH A METAL PALETTE!! Um. I like these. Can you tell? Pros: Brilliantly pigmented and not chalky Great value for money Really decent palette Honestly, these are low-end Artist quality Cons: Not available in stores, though shipping was fast Lots of blended pigment colours, so slightly muddier when mixed Are these 100% perfect? No. there are a few odd colour inclusions and some colour exclusions that make me scratch my head. Are these absolutely brilliant for the price? Yup. A solid beginner set that will make you pleased as punch and keen to crack them out at any opportunity.

These are out of this world incredible.
I bought these because the reviews were great. That’s not always as helpful as we’d like right. Well. Oh my goodness. These are amazing. Tin box. Yum. Amazing colours. They feel sooooo creamy. Other reviews said they don’t need much activating and I’m not sure it can be over stated at all. Just a touch of the wet brush to the dry pan and you get plenty of pigment. The colour is vibrant and so translucent. I’m so excited I’ve not even had time to do more than a swatch and playing with one colour and I’m over the moon. Beautiful layering. Though I was too impatient to wait for it to dry properly. Anyway. So very worth the money. Oh. I bought Daniel smith the other day as a treat but I’m afraid I may end up using these all the time. So so so happy.

AMAZING RANGE OF COLOURS!!
I would give 5 star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ one thing they can improve on - it’s difficult to unpack every colour and it’s so tiny. Makes it very difficult to remove the paper wrapping for each cake and the tiny plastic wrapping again inside. It’s not needed at all. When we open it we are able to use it immediately it would be great. It literally takes half an hour to remove all the tiny wrappings. Esp if we are gifting to kids - they have a tough time opening it. Pl just leave the cakes open. Thanks

wonderful pigments and superb value
these are a pleasant surprise. superb value for the price and a delight to work with. the paints perform very well with good transparency and decent mixing. the colours are vibrant and rich and its a nice little travel kit. i will be repurchasing when they run out. i haven't used them long enough to comment on lightfastness but i have intentionally left a few pieces in direct summer sun and have noticed no discernible issues after several weeks.
