Gets a 2D fix. Soldering not up to the mark.
It won't get a fix at the window ledge, or if a significant part of the view of the sky is blocked. I suggest testing it at some place where you can get large open view of the sky. Use uBlox uCenter software to graphically see the signal strength of various satellites it connects to. You should have a few satellites with above 30 dB signal strength for it to get a fix. Satellites you are connected to will have their signal bar changed to green colour. The module did not get 3D fix and I am trying to figure out why.Soldering of the uBlox chip with the PCB is not up to the mark. The solder is barely touching a few pins. Other than than it works.Packaging wasn't great. It came in an Amazon plastic bag wrapped in some bubble wrap. They could at least put the thing in a small plastic/cardboard box.
