ORE International 3 Tier Bookshelves - Cherry 36 inch

This is a lovely bookcase that seems to be very safe and sturdy. However, it took me hours to reach this point. I did all the things that are recommended prior to assembly. That was my first problem. My parts list didn't look like my parts. It took me a great deal of trial and error to put the unit together. I had all the parts, but I needed to see that the long screw had to be uncoupled from the very odd part. That removed part was needed and had to go underneath into the surprise space. Confused? I was .At one point in the assembly, the piece fell onto my sleeping dog. My sweet dog cried for a few minutes as she applied pressure to her leg. She put herself into her crate and waited until I finally finished before getting out.Yes, I got it together. Better directions would have made this all evening project the hour or less experience it should have been. We aren't all engineering grads. Many of us are just old ladies.

I didn’t like the instructions for bookcase assembly. Actually no instructions just a diagram showing the pieces and arrows pointing where they should go. No directions on which step should go first and so on. I had to take one piece apart because it should of been assembled in a different order. But once the bookcase was completed it’s beautiful. The pieces had the right holes and aligned perfectly. I still recommend this bookcase. It’s COVID-19 so I had time to do a bookcase.

Very attractive and useful bookshelf. I purchased this through Amazon and am very pleased. It keeps my footwear off of the bedroom floor, so I'm not tripping over them. And, off of the closet floor where it is dark and I can barely see what I'm looking for. Using the bookshelf top plus the three shelves underneath I am able to store a dozen pair of a variety of footwear including boots, Sunday best, loafers, and tennies. The "Cherry" finish is attractive and complements other furniture in my bedroom. It doesn't take up very much space, leaving enough room at the end of my bed for me to walk around while making it every morning. And the price was reasonable for this durable, nicely finished, and attractive furniture. Needless to say, my bedroom is pretty small so this bookshelf was just right for me. Check the measurements and see how it would work out for you.

Overall this is a real bargain. Like some of the other reviews ours had some slightly damaged corners. We got a touch up kit from Amazon and it was easy to fix them. If not for these blemishes, which could be solved by cardboard corner protectors, I would give it five stars.

I am pleased with these shelves. They have a classy look, are sturdy, and relatively easy to put together. The written directions are not much, so you must be able to follow the drawings. (Assemble them like the picture...reclining on the floor.) If you look closely, you can see this isn't high end furniture, but it is very nice, and for the price it's amazing-and not fake wood. (I almost bought these identical shelves for much more at a "discount" online retail site. I always check Amazon first. :) Note that you can only put books that are about 9 inches tall in the upright position. I am considering purchasing more. Now, if they only came in black, 22 inches wide, and 72 inches tall...I'd have the perfect spot...

I came on to answer a posted question that has been taken down for some reason, but decided to post a review while here. I ordered this to replace a computer work station that was no longer needed. I wanted something nice to hold books, some figurines and my lap top. This piece fits exactly where I wanted it to, looks exactly like the picture, had exactly all the required parts, was easy to assemble, and seems to be a quality piece of furniture. If I had a place to put one, I would buy another, without hesitation. I would certainly look at this company for any other items of this sort.

I ordered two of these bookcases. They were shipped at different times. The first one was a breeze to put together. The second one had one of the dowel holes drilled in the wrong spot. The box it was shipped in had no damage and yet the top had a chip on the front corner and rear corner. My question is what are you going to do about it ? I am very disappointed !

This is a good bookcase. It is good quality. Doesn't take up a lot of space.
