Amazing
Fantastic. Flawless. While I have absolutely loved every 40k book I've read so far, the Primarchs series has gotten me hooked. Examining the personality traits, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and idiosyncrasies of each of the unique Primarchs is fantastic, and is facilitated gloriously through these great novels.I had rabidly anticipated learning about Curze for a good while. This book artfully displays the tortured and conflicted, thoughtful, yet utterly-relentlessly-brutally- insane soul that is Konrad Curze of the Night Lords.

Pretty Good!
Makes you feel bad for him, but ultimately Curze was depraved and sickeningly evil.Book is amazing though, probably one of the best in the Primarch series.

a good place to start
I didn’t know much about Konrad Curze so I thought this would be a good place to start. The book started out a little slowly, got really good in the middle, then abruptly ended. I still have a lot of questions, but this was a pretty good start.

Cant go wrong with this one
Loved this book. Paints a picture about my favorite Primarch and how he lived, why he did the things he did. AVE DOMINOUS NOX.

One of the best
This is one of my favorite WH40K books of all time."I had a pet once" You can guess where that leads. The discussions that Kurze has with the "Emperor" while he waits on his death are disturbing, fascinating and engaging all at once. I can't overstate how much I enjoyed this once, easy 5 stars.

The Night Haunter revealed
This book got me to like the Night Lords legion a lot more as it dives deep into Curze's homeworld Nostramo and the just how seeped in corruption it is and how that affected him and his warriors as they fought in the crusade. Even though the primarch becomes utterly insane, you can see his slow decline into that instability and I couldn't help but feel bad for him. As one of the Primarchs gifted with the ability to see the future, Curze's use of the power is cynical and sad as he gives himself up to fate.
