Edited for my initial mistake.
An absolute fan of peak refuel for camping, backpacking, hiking, or just to have in an emergency. Filling, delicious, requires little preparation. Initially I was commenting to say that this is not a vegan option, however it was a mistake on my part, partially because "chicken boullion" is separated by a line break on the ingredients list from the word "vegan".

Best vegan chili mac I've yet tried
Surprisingly good. Make sure to stir it well, but this meal has really good flavor and texture. I would like to see larger portion, but it is good.

Tasty, light weight and easy to prepare
Takes a bit longer than specified but it was really good. Large portion. Light weight. My teen daughter shared this and a double chocolate cheesecake by mountain house…omg you HAVE to try that one too.

This is a great meal to have for emergencies or camping, etc.
I totally fell in love with the Peak Refuel brand of dehydrated / freeze dried camping foods. I've backpacked for over 25 years and this is the best backpack / camping food I have ever eaten! The two portions per bag are very generous portions and I could barely eat 1/2 per meal. Highly recommend it!

Did Not Enjoy - a surprise from this brand
This meal was technically fine. It rehydrated well and was everything that the package says it is. Out of all the Peak Refuel meals I've tried, this was the only one I did not like. The flavour was very lacking. The ingredients did not blend together well and the sauce was not complimentary to the contents. I was surprisingly disappointed and ended up packing most of the meal out.

Worst version of a chili mac I have ever tried
This meal was nasty. I honestly thought I had the wrong meal at first but no, it says chili mac on the cover. Did not taste like any kind of chili or mac I have ever tried. Do not mistake this for traditional chili mac....there is no chili and there is no cheese.

Tasty and quick meal, heat up the water, pour in the pouch, and wait 10 minutes and you have a nice meal on the go.
