Buster Brown 100% Cotton Socks, 6-pk

I've ordered these socks several times and love them. I did have to learn the hard way that the sizing is a little off -- I wear a size 8 shoe but in these socks which would indicate the medium size, I need the small. They don't shrink, and the small size fits perfectly. I like these socks because they're thin (we live in Florida) but not so thin as to be sheer. They have a nice big toe box and there is no seam across the top of the toes like in most socks. There is also no elastic in them, which I like -- they are all cotton and not so tight as to be annoying. Very soft and comfortable under any shoe.

Just like what we wore in childhood. Very soft and very white. Fairly thin and comfortable. No nylon or anything to burn your feet just lovely cotton for comfort. So surprised to find anything with no elastic. I knew I should have ordered a size 9 though and after reading reviews got a 10. I wear 7-1/2 shoes and 9 has always been right (except not many sock makers use these sizes anymore). Just a little long in the toe but that's alright also so they don't bind.

Got for my mother who can only wear cotton due to allergies from nylon & synthetic as well as natural fabrics. It’s very hard to find totally 100% cotton clothing anymore. Used to be common. Even the treads used on cotton clothing has other stuff besides cotton, so even seems & elastic can be problems on what seems to be 100% cotton clothing. A lot of companies say 100% corton, but it’s still got a fraction of something else; usually in the seams & bands. On socks it’s practically an impossibility! There are knock-offs & many that say their socks are all cotten, but regardless of company claims & laeling as 100% cotton, they aren’t. Buster Browns are the only ones I could find that actually didn’t have anything but cotton! Mom loves them! 1st thing she said was the toe seam was so tiny it didn’t seem like it had a seam & she could barely notice it. And she said they’re really soft & she liked the colors. Her other socks were so old, they were ready for retirement, but w/o a source of real 100% cotton replacements, she was hesitant to let any of her old socks go. Problem solved! Buster Brown, PLEASE DON’T EVER CHANGE OR STOP MAKING THESE SOCKS! I had no problem getting the perfect size either. I just ordered her shoe size & Mom said they couldn’t fit better.

I have big feet, size 11-12, depending on the shoe. I also have heavy ankles (could have inherited my dad's singing voice; instead I got his thick ankles). Finding socks that don't bind my ankles is a problem. These don't. Amazing.

These really are 100% cotton, which is great if you have skin allergies. They fit a little loosely, which I think is just a given of 100% cotton socks, but might also be due to the fact that the smallest size available is 9, and my foot is actually an 8. However, they work fine for me. I wish they offered more color choices in the set, as I have no real need for tan socks, but I'm glad they're available at all.

Do NOT buy these socks if 100% cotton is important to you - the cuffs contain elastic. The FTC regulations would seem to prohibit this false fabric content labeling.. Meanwhile, don't waste your money.

I bought my wife a package of these because they were all cotton and they're hard to find now days. She loved them and I ordered another package of them.

I was so disappointed in these socks. I don't know if I got defective ones or not but they were unwearable. I bought them because they are supposed to be "Seamless" socks. Yes the seams are barely noticeable until you try to fit them onto your feet. The seams that should go across the toes are to the side so that when you put them on you have a point at the top of your toes and point at the bottom of the toes instead of a nice fitting sock. The only way you would have a nice fit over the toes is if you placed the heel to the side. I have never seen socks sewed this way before. I didn't see anyone else complain about this so maybe I received defective ones.
