I used these 6mm clips to secure an Ethernet cable outside when installing a Reolink camera, and they worked as expected. They grip the cable well enough and helped keep the run much tidier along the outside wall. On brick, installation can be a bit more difficult because the small nails do not always go in easily, so I had to take a bit more care with placement. The plastic itself is fine for the job, but it does not feel especially heavy-duty, so I would avoid being too rough with the clips when hammering them in. Overall, for a simple outdoor camera or Ethernet installation, they are inexpensive and practical. Just be aware that fixing them into brick takes a little more patience than using them on softer surfaces.

What's to be said that a million reviews haven't already? (At least the clips have held tight and won't let that annoying TV cable flap around in the wind ever again). So to summarise: They've served their intended purpose perfectly and were cheaper than a round trip to B&Q! 👍😉

Great little clips for Cat * cable

They fit the pipe well but they’re not great for attaching to walls. Mortar is too crumbly and they just rip out and stone and brick are too hard to get the nails in. When they do work they’re very quick to fit but I’ll need to get some screw ones for the locations where these nails didn’t work
