Getting Real!
Ok, so everyone is always asking me what I would put in my "Bug Out" bag in the event of some apocalyptic event...They are sold a huge bill of goods by the sporting goods market and alarmists about having a 250 pound bag filled with everything from a Special Forces Field Surgical Kit to a bag of metric socket wrenches! Folks from my heart to yours, if you feel like you have to have something that will be worth it's weight in GOLD should the day ever come, a Lee's Loader is it. IF, and its a huge "IF", all things went to the proverbial doghouse across this country and you decided to bug out to your remote local, you can rest assured that there would be limited anything including electricity! If you are one of the folks that paid 1k for a suitable Honda generator, and have the guts to start it up, giving your position away for the noise it makes, you will be finding yourself looking straight into the eyes of someone with the moxy and intent to take it from you..."All you got to do is find those that have prepared and take their stuff" as many have espoused. A person can live without electricity, comfortably, for a very long time if you have the proper tools. This kit is one of those tools. It's foolproof! If I can use it, it has to be. You can load a days worth of hunting ammunition by the light of a candle using simple, primitive tools that you will have at your disposal in the event of a "very bad day/week/month/year". Forget packing 500 rounds of each weapon in your heavily laden bug out bag. Get a good rifle & pistol, a reloader like this fine example here and take a reasonable amount of ammo in your bug out bag.The Lee reloader is easy, like I stated before. It's made of the finest materials and will hold tolerances for the life of you and your weapon. It's compact, and again, very simple. If you can use a mallet, hammer, heel of your boot, you can use this reloader. My only regret is that they don't make a Lee Loader in a bunch of calibers...If you want a simple reliable and pack-able survival tool for your hunting or protection weapon...get a Lee Loader, you'll be glad you did...

When you want it simple
Been reloading well over 50 years now and there are times I just want to load a few and not set up the press for a limited run of say 10 or less for testing. I've had many of these sets in different calibers in the past, but they were "liberated" from me by a former step-son.... But back to the point. I needed another one for .30'06 and Amazon had one....As this unit necksizes the rounds it's important to use cases fired from the same weapon and such, but this is well known to those that have loaded for a while. But as I said, I often load a limited amount of rounds to test loads and this unit works in perfectly for that need. Yes, it's a simple hand operated rig but a few days ago I loaded up five rounds that I had altered the charge by 1.5 gr. and this was measured with a scale, but the rest of the loading was done with this tool. The result was a five shot group that measured right at 3/4" at 100 meters with all rounds touching. Now if that's not enough proof that this unit can load safe, accurate, and refined ammo then I don't know what is.If you're just starting out in reloading this can save you lots of cash if you just want to try reloading and not spend a bundle on the press and other many items. Or if like me, an oldtimer in loading, it's handy for when ya want to load a few and avoid the press. Either way, it does the job intended and produces fine ammo and that's the point of any reloading. Make safe accurate ammo.

What's not to like?
What's not to like? Millions of rounds have been loaded with these dies. It's a great loader for the owner who only has one rifle, or when budgets are tight. Just remember this die neck sizes only, so it's best used with the same bolt action or single shot rifle. It is especially handy to take to the range, when working up a load due to its small size and ease of use. Used within its limitations, you won't be disappointed.

Awesome!
I first had a 9mm in my younger years, but being young I let it go when I sold my gun . I absolutely love these things easy to use fun and a great way to teach the kids as they grow! I just wish they had more !! A 338 lapua mag would be nice . I’ve made hundreds of rounds and can honestly say I’ve never had a problem so far !! I will buy more as they make them . I think I have every one out there so far?

Does a great job
Great handy way to reload. Getting back into reloading and this is ideal price wise.I would not recommend using a regular hammer like a guy on You Tube does tho, I bought a rubber hammer at HBF for 6 bucks. I would recommend sizing and priming a batch before breaking the powder out because I had a primer pop due to me not setting it in the priming die properly. Would also recommend getting a powder scale so you can do any load. I will be getting a priming tool because it's much easier. This is a take anywhere reloader, not the fastest but it does a great job. Received mine a week ago and have loaded a couple hundred rounds.
