Excellent shaver for an awesome price
I have owned Braun, Panasonic, Remington and Philips cordless electric shavers and the Shave Pro works just as good or better then any of them! Besides giving a "straight edge" smooth shave the razor is pretty quiet and doesnt vibrate very much in the hand. It even has a little safety button on the power slider, very cool! Cant comment about long term durability or battery life yet but as electric shavers go its fantastic. The Shave Pro uses a foil which gives a super close shave but doesnt cut if your scruff is more then a "5 oclock shadow". In that case you have to slowly trim down your beard with the supplied trimmer attachment. (you have to do this slowly or you will get some sharp pulls on your skin. This is inherit of all brand trimmers) My skin is semi sensitive but there are no issues for me with this shaver. It shaves as comfortable as the most expensive Braun ive ever owned. (the reviewer that was getting cut may have had a break in the foil)Speaking of foil, my favorite part about this shaver is that it comes with an extra one. Every shaver ive owned in the past would get a break/chip in the foil and the companies charge between $30-$50 for a new foil. I bought a Remington brand foil razor at wally world for $30 and within a year the foil broke. They wanted $26 for a new foil (automatically comes with cutter) so for $4 more I simply bought a new razor. Well less then a year later that foil broke as well. Got tired playing games and thats when i bought this shaver. Having and extra foil is like getting 2 shavers for the price of one and that makes the Shave Pro an even more awesome deal!

This is an excellent product for the price.
Does not chew my face up like most electric shavers do, even the high end ones. Does a great job both wet or dry. No electric shaver will get all the hairs, but this one does as good a job as any, and it's easy to get the stragglers with a regular blade or the built in trimmer that's a very nice addition. I did not expect such good results because of the price I paid, but after reading a few reviews I thought I'd give it a try since I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I mainly use it to keep trim, but if I'm going somewhere special, then I use a conventional blade. I think the secret is not to apply too much pressure to your face, hold the skin taught, and to use and cross hatch motion when shaving. This leaves me with little or no irritation. I would recommend it, and I must mention it was delivered very fast. Good product and good service. Thanks Amazon, I love shopping on your site, I usually can find what I want, your prices are very competitive, and the best customer service of any online shopping site!

No power at all on my teen son... Would not cut his beard or side burns.
I bought this for my 17 year old. The shaver wouldn't even cut his side burns let alone his beard. He did manage to get some of it cut with pop up trimmer of it, but the main head on the shaver isnt worth a flip. If it had the power to cut it would be great, especially for the price of it, as for as how its made is comfortable, and light weight.

Extremely Close Shave but Very Rough
This is a full-size shaver with double foils and an effective push-up trimmer which is a sort of marvel for the meager price of $16.If you're looking for the closest electric shave on the market, this is probably it. It REALLY is as close as a blade. It shaves closer than my high-end Braun Series7, Panasonic ES-LA63 and everything else I've tried. Too good to be true? Yes, because it comes at the expense of a very rough effect on your face. If you have anything close to sensitive skin, stay away--it will be very irritating. On the other hand, if your skin is very hardy or leathery, this may very well be the shaver for you. My skin is somewhat sensitive so the Shave Pro has been relegated to my shaver graveyard drawer. For those reasons I give it 5 stars for closeness and 1 star for comfort, averaging out at three.I should mention that this is a wet/dry shaver and I only tried it dry. It is totally possible that some shave cream or gel used in a wet shave could take the edge off the roughness issue, but I don't know. If so, you'd really hit a home run.The shaver has good looks and ergonomics, feels good in the hand and is decently maneuverable. So, if you think your face can handle a shaver that feels a little like sandpaper, go ahead and try it. You may love it!

Good shave, cheap charger.
Good inexpensive razor. I would say I am a need to shave every day guy otherwise I have noticeable scruff by noon on day 2. Used almost daily for over a year. Battery has held up well but blades are getting pretty dull. But at this price I can get another one for as cheap as blades so I will probably just order another. 4 stars instead of 5 because the charger end that goes into the wall seems pretty cheap. I dropped it from about 3 feet to the floor and the whole case cracked and came off. It still works fine, just had to do a little repair on it but was surprised it let go that easily.

I love my Shave Pro Cordless Shaver
My 1st Shave Pro Cordless Shaver failed due to my fault not reading the instructions and letting it be overcharged. It should not be charged more than 2 hours max! It's so cheap, I bought a 2nd one right away and it is even better than the 1st one. Very quite and powerful! I am very happy with its performance and price! The only con is that it must be charged before shaving. Using a cord will not work like some other cordless shavers such as Braun Series Men's Shaver, which I also happen to own as a backup. Great price! Great performance!

Works but not well.
Does not shave close and misses a lot of hairs. When trying to get a closer, cleaner shave it irritates skin.

Fits the hand comfortably and shaves well
Fits the hand comfortably and shaves well. It does the job very inexpensively. My only minor complaint is the charging cord and plug is kind of flimsy. Have to be careful not to break it but at this price, who cares. After using it for three months, found a problem with the charging. One charge lasts for about three days, not too impressive. A label says charge 2 hours. The battery becomes warm if you leave it plugged in for a few hours. Heating is usually a bad sign for rechargeable batteries. Internal battery is one 4/5 AA NiCad, a very uncommon size. NiCad is known to have memory problem. After nine month's use, the battery is not holding charge anymore. Replacement battery is expensive. Might as well throw the shaver away.
