Easy way to add an antenna to Bose Wave radio
If you have a radio that uses an F-connector for an antenna connection and you do not have a long coax cable for the FM signal, this is a great, simple and convenient way to add a telescoping antenna to a Bose wave radio or any modern radio with an F-connector for the antenna. This provides great improvement over the built in antenna and stereo signals are much more stable. This antenna seems well made, but of course like any telescoping antenna you need to be careful with it when it is extended. Don't let the cat or lil kids play with it.

Old school and effective.
I needed one for an old Tivoli table clock radio. Connection was easy and it improved reception markedly. As stable as you'd expect with one of these--the cat can push it around.

It works well!
I purchased these to use in some table radios that either used a T-dipole antenna or a simple wire antenna that slid over the F-connector.These were relatively simple to install, you have to push them in and screw the nut onto the threads of the F-connector and it takes a while to get in all the way, but once in place its a good, tight connection. The antennas feel sturdy, and the nut to screw onto the connector feels solid and threads easily. The telescoping antenna mast feels solid, holds its position and is easy to extend and retract with confidence.SO DOES IT WORK? In a word, YES. We live in the suburbs and I tracked down 3 stations that were static-y at best without the antennas. I screwed in the antenna and I was able to pull in all 3 stations with a very clear signal. For some of them, I was able get a clear signal with the antenna partially extended, but others required the antenna to be fully extended. But either way I was able to pull in stations that were either unlistenable, or not discovered at all with this/these antennas. In fact, I have one more radio that needs an antenna, so I might get another pair for this and my stereo receiver.Highly recommended.

Works
Bought for older Marantz Receiver and used for local radio stations. Works quite well for stations in my immediate area. If you are looking for something simple and easy to use, this will work. Make sure you have the proper connector on your receiver before you purchase.
