These are big enough to organize a lot, but small enough to fit inside larger boxes (like my electrical connectors inside the box with the wire cutters, speaker wire, cable ties,...). Yes, you have to cut the space dividers apart. With a sturdy pair of scissors this isn't much of an issue, and if you cut a sliver into the actual divider sides, it won't affect it's ability to stay in place. Make sure the middle lip of the dividers are positioned at the top (numbers facing upright). I bought 2 4-packs, already have stuff sorted into 5 of them. Arts and crafts, office supplies, electrical connectors, spare assemble yourself furniture parts, and computer/electronic accessories/adapters/SD cards... is what I've got organized so far. So nice to scan through one of these boxes instead of digging and digging through a box to find what I'm looking for. Yeah, it takes some time to set up, but the amount of time it will save me later on is well worth it. The snaps that hold the lids closed, I like very much. With other, simpler boxes, I've had tragic accidents involving seed beads being thrown out of an accidentally dropped container. I wouldn't say these boxes would keep ALL the seed beads in their respective compartments, but with a latched lid, they'll never end up all over the ground. And you could always use poster-board or fabric to fill in that little bit of a gap that there is. If you don't want to go to that much trouble, I went with a Craft Mates product for my itty bitty beads. Anyways, sometimes you just need the right tool for the job. These are perfect for beads and findings! They come with all the dividers too, so theres no need to order more. All the dividers stay in place, none of them are loose or fall out easily. This is ideal when you are tring to get out what you put in the compartments (I have many other bead boxes I have this problem with). All the dividers come attached so I had to use my jewelry nippers to get them appart. The lid is flush with the top of the dividers so all your items stay in their compartment if the box gets turned upside down with the lid attached. The boxes stack nicely. I like that they are clear enough that you can see whats inside without opening the lid. The hinges to secure the lid close are maybe a little too tight, they are difficult to open and close. Over all these are great quality boxes and worth the money.

Very good quality. The only flaw I could find was that there were some little tabs that didn't get cut off on either side the latches but it has no effect on how the latches work. I popped off the latches and trimmed them off anyway just because I'm picky. Not sure that I should have docked a whole star for this. Like I said, I'm picky. Give it a 4.5. Some reviewers complained about not enough dividers but I always ended up with extras. If you put a divider in each available slot you would have compartments that are only about an inch long, which is mostly useless to me. I attached photos comparing these to the Chinese equivalent from Harbor freight to show the HUGE difference in quality. Especially the latches and hinges. I highly recommend these.

If you're looking for multiple stowaways for your boat, tackle box, or small materials this is it. I've bought 2 of these in store for this price. Make sure to check your tackle box size as these come in many different sizes. Pros: - Good deal for 4, can be more expensive in store. - Great size for most tackleboxes. - Can be used for more than fishing. - Does not feel as flimsy as other brands. - Dividers stay in and latches stay closed when transporting. Cons: - The latches can be quite stiff making it difficult to latch close.

Love these little organizers. I use them to hold bits, nuts, bolts, little electronic components. The very durable. The fit is good, meaning they're not sloppy or need some finessing to get them closed. Like some other brands I have bought and when I get tiered of them I'll be replacing them with these. They're worth the money.

The 3600 series containers are versatile size that fit a wide variety of tools and parts. I am using them to store fountain pens and their associated parts, various small hobby electronics parts, small precision tools, and soforth. The dividers are good and stay in place firmly if you leave a small nub on either side when you cut them out. You can feel these containers 'fit' together a little bit if you stack them, which stops them from sliding around.
