These are great! It offers a good clearance between the cellos (1/2 size and 4/4 size) and the wall. Careful to gently place the bow on the included hanger. I have really enjoyed these and they seem sturdy and when the cellos are not being played I find them VERY attractive on the wall. Overall, I would recommend these and feel they are WELL worth the cost, especially considering how much other cello holders of various sorts can cost. Hangability is wonderful!

This is a good product. I use two of them constantly. The cello is safe and secure even if it LOOKS as though it’s off-balance on the holder. Both cellos are always handy, end pin extended, and taking up minimal space. I may put a little bumper on the wall below in case the back taps the wall when I’m hanging them up. Because I have old lathe and plaster walls, I mounted a 6” x 6” piece of wood on the wall with 4 screws, and then mounted the hangers onto that. Good look too.

Admittedly, I was nervous at first to entrust my babies to these mounts, but I was wrong to worry. Both of my acoustic cellos feel solid in the holder, and now I don’t even think twice about hanging them up. They keep them right where I want them, and the added bow holder is a nice touch as well. I used the included screws to mount them to studs in the wall, and the rest of the assembly was easy and intuitive.

Needing more space to practice, I purchased a holder for hanging my electric cello. The hanger is sturdy enough to hold the weight securely and it is just what I needed. It is so much nicer and convenient to display the instrument, rather than constantly pack and unpack into a soft case. The end pin is always adjusted for me, ready to play and there is less wear on my bow because it is hanging on the special hook. Pleased with my purchase, would recommend.

That's the most important part....the instrument stays hanging on the wall. The mount looks good and has a place for the bow. Simple and it works.

Since having kids, I haven't really played my cello. It's a pain getting it out of the closet where it's stored, taking it out of the case, and then having to pack it all up after I'm done playing. Thanks to young(ish) kids and a very aggressive robot vacuum, I just couldn't store my cello on the floor to get knocked over. It cost more than my first car! But, what use was it sitting in the closet, unused, for the last decade? After we displayed all our guitars on the wall so my husband could access them at his convenience, I started wondering...can I access my cello at my convenience, too? And lo and behold, I found this gem online! I LOVE IT! It is well-made, has a place for the bow, and snugly grips my cello neck. I added a guitar wall holder on the base of the cello, and I feel very confident that it's supported by more than just the neck itself, and the cello won't come off the wall. The big cello hanging in the front room is a fun conversation starter when guests come over, and I can now reach for it whenever I want--I'm so thrilled by this! I mean, yes, it's probably better for my cello to sit in a case away from the elements, but again, if it hasn't been played more than once a year in a decade...why not display it so I can play it at least weekly again? Success!!

I wasn’t sure how much I trusted this little stick until I screwed it in and really pulled on it— very strong! The screws it comes with are not great, I used some 2” T20s instead. think this will be a good way to keep the cello out but safe from the floor dwellers.

This was bought to hold my daughter's school cello. We did look at stands, but they were so expensive. However, I felt that if she had the cello out and it was readily accessible, she would be more inclined to play it little and often throughout the day. This was so simple to drill to the wall and the results are brilliant! Immensely practical and sturdy, this not only protects the cello by keeping it out of harm's way and off the floor, but it also adds a lovely bit of decor to our living room. Now, my daughter doesn’t have to struggle to bring her cello up and down the stairs or take time to set it all up – all she does is grab the cello and bow off the hanger and go. For such a low price, this is highly recommended.

I bought two of these for my two cellos. Not only made in USA, but made in Wisconsin, which to me makes them even better! The brackets appear very well made, and I am very confident that my instruments hang safely on my wall here in Germany.

Easy to install, frees up space in my office and looks great when on the wall.
