I started researching adaptogens that might be helpful at treating colds or the flu a few years ago because my mom needs to take several biologicals for chronic illness. We started taking this adaptogen at the very first sign of illness, as we usually now do, and none of us have developed anything worse than the first signs of illness... For instance, the normal headache, stuffy nose, achiness, and fatigue. But none of us have developed anything more than those very mild first symptoms. And none of us have been sick for more than 3 or 4 days. This was such a huge surprise to all of us but especially my mom and I, who'd always previously gotten sicker than most people. In the past five years, not one of us have been truly sick to the point of needing to miss work or school. None of us have gotten beyond those early stages of illness when we've taken this at the very first signs of a cold or the flu. In my opinion, this is the most amazing adaptogen we've ever tried!Because everything on the label is written in Indian, I'll tell you how we take this adaptogen. At the VERY FIRST SIGNS of a cold or the flu, take ONE TABLET as soon as possible, and another at bedtime.If you continue to feel sick, take one tablet in the morning and one tablet at bedtime. If you're like us, chances are you'll feel back to normal after a day to 3 or 4 days. Continue to take one tablet in the morning and one tablet at bedtime until you feel completely back to normal. Even while taking the biologicals, my mom has never had to take more than two tablets per day for more than 3 or 4 days.I can't tell you what a great product this is. You simply have to try it to believe it, and because it's so inexpensive, I buy it and always have it on hand for our entire family of 6.I also send bottles of it to our son and his college roommates.
