Mushroom in the Rain: Adapted from the Russian of V. Suteyev (Rise and Shine)

This is an excellent book. We started to teach our son mush room picking this summer and he really likes it. The pictures are superb.

My friend bought me this book after she raved about it. My 3 year old loves it!! Such a sweet book about sharing and helping! Also, we are suckers for anything with mushrooms! Beautiful illustrations

This is a lovely story about sharing. My children are teenagers now, but I bought it so we would have it around when cousins come to visit. I just love this story!

I remember reading this book as a little girl but I could remember the name all I could think of was Rain and Mushroom. Thank goodness for the simple title.I really love the story about the growing mushroom and all the animals taking cover under it from the rain.

Good story line.

Simple story illustrating sharing with others in order to help them and be kind as well as teaching you a small bit about mushrooms.

Considering the weather we've been having (constant rain) this is an excellent book. The pictures are slightly psychedelic but in a good way and my daughter (who is 3) likes it very much!
