Form Meets Function — A True Air-Less Container
I’ve used plenty of “airtight” containers over the years, but this is the first one that actually lives up to its design claims. The Airscape’s inner plunger lid doesn’t just seal—it actively pushes out excess air, which makes a noticeable difference for freshness and longevity. The build quality is exceptional. The matte white finish looks (and feels) high-end and fits seamlessly into my minimalist kitchen setup. The plunger handle feels solid and smooth to operate, and the outer clear lid gives it a clean, finished look. I currently use one for black sesame seeds, and I liked it so much I bought a second—perfect for storing bags of seasonings and various small-batch items I pull out for special occasions. It also blends perfectly with my existing canisters and storage system—the proportions, finish, and texture match better than most high-end kitchen brands I’ve used. This is one of those rare products where the engineering and the aesthetic align flawlessly. — Curated by Jaded John | #OrderlyCleanDesign

A great buy for coffee lovers
The AirScape Planetary Design Coffee Canister is just what I needed. Buying coffee at the club stores means storing an extra large supply of grounds or beans that may last for months. Problem solved! This canister looks good and has a quality feel. There is a satisfying "swoosh" sound as the plunger lid seals the contents. The top lid is rubber reinforced to provide more protection from air and moisture. This larger size is perfect, and it fits inside my kitchen cabinet. This canister is worth the price to keep expensive coffee products fresh.

Perfect Coffee Storage Solution
The Airscape Coffee Storage Canister has become an indispensable part of my kitchen, especially since I started my monthly 2-pound coffee subscription. Here's why I love it: Preserves Freshness: The patented airtight lid with a two-way valve is incredibly effective at pushing air out of the canister, ensuring that my coffee stays fresh for longer periods. I no longer have to worry about my beans losing their flavor and aroma due to exposure to air. Spacious Design: This canister is generously sized, with enough capacity to accommodate up to 2.5 pounds of dry beans. It's perfect for storing the bulk quantity of coffee I receive from my subscription without taking up too much counter space. Durable Construction: The canister is made from high-quality materials and features a sturdy build that feels solid and durable. The matte "charcoal" black finish adds a sleek and modern touch to my kitchen decor. Easy to Use: The push-button lid is easy to operate, allowing me to seal the canister with a simple press. It's also easy to open when I need to access my coffee beans, making the whole process hassle-free. Versatile: While I primarily use this canister for storing coffee beans, its airtight seal makes it suitable for storing a variety of dry goods, including tea, sugar, flour, and more. It's a versatile storage solution that offers great value for money. Overall, the Airscape Coffee Storage Canister has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance, durability, and convenience. It's the perfect companion for my monthly coffee subscription, ensuring that I always enjoy fresh and flavorful coffee with every brew. If you're serious about preserving the freshness of your coffee beans or other dry goods, I highly recommend giving this canister a try.

Great for Keeping More than Coffee Fresh
I thought other customers would like to know that this large airtight storage container can be incredibly useful for food products other than coffee. I was looking for something that would keep my homemade granola- cheaper and tastier than store bought- crisp and fresh. Ordinary plastic or ceramic containers were not airtight enough nor were double zip plastic freezer bags. This Airscape container is amazing. It keeps granola or anything you want to keep crisp tasting like the day it came out of the oven! I was hesitant to spend the money but it works and holds a full recipe of my granola. Exceeded my expectations!

Great Product for Keeping Whole Beans Fresh for Longer
This is a great product. My coffee beans last a while longer in this as opposed to leaving them in the bag they came in. I buy the 2lb bags from Costco and there is plenty of room to accommodate the whole bag. The seal appears to be strong. It's compact and you can stack things on it if you are struggling for space in your pantry. This was worth the sale price and likely worth the full price. My only complaint is that I wish they had more color options.

Good choice for kilo sized stg
After some debate over the coated interior and concern about galvanized steel vs stainless steel, decided to take a chance and try it. Per company reply, they chose galvanized steel to keep cost down. Frankly the amount of stainless vs the cost to coat the interior can’t be that much, so I’m not convinced their reasoning is that valid unless their margins are exceptionally slim. I’d proably pay $5 more for stainless, I’m betting many others would as well. Not really much choice for storing a kilo bag of coffee beans. We have had a medium airs ape for years for a lb bag of beans that’s proven durable and continues to work well. This kilo size is fairly huge to keep on the counter, but looks nicer and works better than a clip on a kilo bag. This container seems to made well, it does feel a bit weaker than the stainless, but the diameter is certainly much bigger so if you’re holding it against yourself to get some leverage to lift the outer cover, it feels like a hard enough squeeze will deform the cylinder. The top lip makes it pretty much even with the cover, so it’s not the easiest thing to get fingers under to lift off. Over time the gasket should loosen a bit at it should get easier. They could have either made the cover edge a hair bigger in diameter or molded the bottom lip with a bit of a bevel to make fingers easier to get under it to lift it out. So for the thin feeling of the metal cylinder and the top cover edge, I deducted 1 star - felt like deducting 1 per each issue, but I have been able to adapt my handling of the container to make it less awkward. Minus 1 seems fair. The air scape inner sealing lid works exactly the same as our medium, fairly easy to pull with one hand when roughly half full or higher. As I’ve used up 3/4 of the beans now, I find it takes 2 hands - I put palms on edge and hook thumbs under the handle and soft of rotate my palms to lever up my thumbs to lift, when near the top, I can easily remove it with one hand. I have fairly small hands for a guy so it’s impossible to grasp the container with one hand, and it’s awkward to try and hold it down with one hand. The thumb lever method has been working really well. Some question that the inner lid seals in CO2 rather than using a one way valve to let it escape. I’m a chemical engineer and this makes no sense. CO2 is primarily degassed by the roaster prior to bagging and most bag under nitrogen to minimize oxygen. You can’t create CO2 without O2! Although there may be some compounds in coffee beans that contain oxygen that can possibly decompose to yield some CO2, but after roasting and cooling and packaging, decomposition is a very slow process. Furthermore, CO2 is fairly inert, not as inert as nitrogen, but in this case it’s a good protective gas and better to leave that small bit of CO2 positive pressure within the bean storage container to help prevent any further oxygen intrusion. Frankly, these one way valve containers are all hype and do nothing to preserve flavor, unless you have just recently roasted beans, like within the first day or two of roasting. The only good options are to push out as much oxygen containing air as possible and seal off the container from air intrusion, like the air scape; or, use a vacuum pump to expel the container air then seal it off; or, inject enough nitrogen to displace all the oxygen containing air which is roughly 20% oxygen and 80% nitrogen - injecting nitrogen will mix with the existing air so getting to zero oxygen will be difficult, especially without any way to agitate the beans to disturb the pockets of trapped air. Ultimately, the air scape is the best option since there is no vacuum pump to maintain. As it displaces the air above the beans, the only oxygen left is the small fraction trapped with the spaces around the beans. For my money, I’m happy using the large air scape versus using a smaller container with a vacuum pump that would require leaving beans in the bag or buying multiple vacuum jars.

Keeps Your Coffee Fresh
Remove the plunger lid and the aroma for fresh coffee beans greets you every time! If you are a coffee lover, that's a great start to you morning and a good cup of coffee. The canister is well made, not plastic, and comes in different sizes. I will be ordering another for coffee storage in the RV and one for keeping crackers fresh.

Excelente producto

Fresh coffee storage!
I buy my favorite coffee beans by the kilo now, so I never run out. This storage canister works perfectly. No electronics, simple operation to get the air out, and my coffee stays fresh until it’s all used up. I’d highly recommend it.
