Dramatically reduces pavement-pounding achy feet!
I got two pairs of these in Black Stripe L/XL for my boyfriend who typically wears 10.5/11 shoes. They fit perfectly and he loves them! Now, he was a little skeptical about trying them, because he is a 10-pack of crew socks kinda guy, but his feet had been hurting from walking all day doing street photography. I told him the ladies version helped me with very achy feet and knees at work, that I got them on sale (they still cost more than 10 pair of his regular socks, but, better than MSRP!) and to *please, just give them a try*! He gave me "the look" and put them in the sock drawer.Well, it took him a few weeks to even break open the packaging, but when he got home that evening after his first wearing he pretty much immediately exclaimed that the socks were fantastic and his feet felt so much better with them. Just like he is the kind of guy to wear $1 socks, he is also the guy who doesn't fluff things up - he shoots straight. So, this proclamation meant he meant it! Now, he doesn't wear them daily, but if he is going to be walking a lot, he puts these babies on because he knows they work. And now I have a new stocking stuffer idea. :PHope this review helps someone with their tired, sore feet. Best of luck!UPDATE 01/06/2018: I wanted to update that these socks are still going strong for my boyfriend. They are his most expensive pair and he wears them when he knows he will be on his feet all day. Something of note: He must have acidic sweat because he wears holes through all his socks like crazy - these socks are still in perfect shape after 2 years where he has "killed" other socks in months. Definitely a winner in my book!

Best compression socks I've tried and I've Tried a Lot
Struggle to put on a new pair but easy to take off. Stick with it. Putting them on gets easier with use. Comfortable wearing for an entire day. The wool in these socks makes them cozy while providing good compression. l've tried many other compression socks but none give me the combination of comfort and compression that I get from Sockwell. Just purchased a week's worth and will wear them daily.

but these socks have helped him to have better stamina to get more done in a day's time
I purchased these socks as a gift to my new husband. He serves as a tribal pastor and school principal for underprivileged children here in the interior of India, and he often has had pain in his legs and feet since we were married. Not that I mind massaging him before bedtime, but these socks have helped him to have better stamina to get more done in a day's time.I first fell in love with this company's socks about two years ago, when I worked in a coffee shop and had very long shifts at the espresso machine, followed by a lunch rush of food to serve, then desserts and sweet drinks (also made with espresso). I could work my long shifts, and then go spend 30 minutes of intense workout at the gym on the way home. Hoping for the best, when I moved to India and married my husband, I brought my trusty socks along in case of pregnancy (to deal with restless leg syndrome or possible varicose veins) and also just long hours of work around the house. One day, I talked my husband into wearing my socks, as his feet are close to my own size. He found them very comfy, but was too embarrassed to wear pink polka dots (even under his pant legs) out of the house. Inspired, I ordered him three pair of Sockwell socks from the Men's collection. When all three pair are in the laundry hamper, he has been known to sneak into the dirty clothes and take out the cleanest of the three pair. I'm just so happy his legs and feet don't hurt him as much these days. Thank you, Sockwell!I will say, though, wash them in cold water in a delicates bag, and I always hang mine to dry. You don't actually have to wash them every time you wear them, but three times is about their limit. You do have to take care of these socks differently than you would the socks you grew up wearing, but once you're in the swing of things, and they've begun to help your daily life, you won't mind so much. The colors hold well, also.

Don't put 'em in the dryer
Good socks, well made, durable. The washing instructions say they can be dried in the dryer, but the ones we first bought shrunk a lot, even on low heat. The replacements have been washed in the washer on cool temp and air dried -- they're fine.

WONDERFUL SOCKS
These socks fit my leg and foot very well to provide the compression that I need. They are a tad expensive, but they are also very-well made. I anticipate them lasting me for a long time.

Greatest fit for persons with Blood Clot's on legs. This sock is expensive, but who cares if it does the job in an expert fashion!

My favorite compression socks
I don’t wear compression socks all the time, but when I do Sockwell is the brand I like. I wear wool socks (when I wear socks) all rear long. I find the all synthetic compression socks to be hot and very uncomfortable to wear. The sockwell on the other hand are as comfortable as I feel compression socks can be.

Good compression, good looks, not too tight
I got another tighter pair that are good but very hard to put on and really tight. I like these.

Calidad y durabilidad
De los calcetines de compresión que he usado, son los que más tiempo han durado, trabajo más de 12 hrs y la mayor parte del tiempo es de pie. Y me funciona la compresión

Great socks. Warm
Great socks. Warm, soft material, very comfy, wears similar to a ski sock, does not move around or bunch up through a days work, even removing and putting on winter boots 5x per day at job sites. perfect fit for size 9-10 foot.
