Excellent quality
I'm making an "impossible table" project with my son and really didn't know how to connect the chains in a neat fashion to complement the contemporary style of it, these worked perfect, the threads are strong and the shape of the hook is not like the cheaper generic ones

Does what you need it to do
The M8 Hook Bolt 304 Stainless Steel Ring Screw High Hardness Steel Hook Bolt was required to replace failed (after tens of years) previous hooks. After some minor enlarging (imperial to metric), the bolts fitted easily and have been in virtual daily us. The main pair are used on a long outside washing line another as bolt hook in my shed. No sign of rust as yet

Masterbuilt smoker replacement for latch
When the draw latch on my Masterbuilt smoker broke, I was searching for a replacement that I could bolt on that was the right size and wouldn't require me to drill new holes. This hook bolt was an even better option! All I had to do was screw out the M6 threaded rod left in the old latch and replace it with this hook. It screwed right in and latches perfectly. Some locktite might keep it from twisting, but it's not a big deal. Plus, I've got 9 left over for... well, something else I guess.
