I'm using these for 10 gage wiring for my solar panels. They hold the writing tight.Don't know about how waterproof these are.... wire is going through the outside wall of a metal tool shed and I'm not checking for leaks.

Easy Worked great

I used these in a weatherproof electrical box to house an LNA for satellite reception. The connections fit perfectly in the 1/2" NPT openings in the box. LMR400 coax will fit the connectors but depending on the termination a slight modification may be needed.The connections close tightly on the coax so I'm confident the box will stay dry inside and my electronics will be safe.

By putting the wire connector on the side, you need to drill a bigger hole to get the wires through. Should hook up on the back and tighten up from the side.
