BOSCH BS947 Blue Parking Brake Shoe Set

Good brand and good price and delivered to my door. I like that the friction material is bonded and riveted to the shoe hopefully they won’t fail like my original ones did separating and locking up the rear wheels (2013 ram)I recommend getting new hardware and axle seals to (very easy to change)It’s a lot easier to remove the axles to do the job than fighting to get everything on around the hubs plus you can properly clean out the rust and grease all the pivot points including the emergency brake actuators which are usually rusted and seized up.Now everything operates like new. And fresh gear oil is always a good thing.

The actual brake material is only about half as thick as the 11 year old stock ones I replaced. Adjusting them in is a complete nightmare even compared to a typical drum shoe replacement which I suspect is because of the smaller thickness despite the same curve diameter. They “match” but the quality is less than expected from a typically reliable brand
