Does this product only read or will it write on 3.5 disks as well? I have an older embroidery machine that reads 3.5 disks.

Can you use this drive to erase and reuse a disk that already has information on it?

Erase and reuse functionality worked fine for me in windows 8.0 machine. Some disks had trouble reading, but that may have been a symptom of age and condition.

does it work on windows 10? i just trying to install driver cd-rom that comes with it but doesn't run

If you are having trouble getting the USB external diskette drive to be recognized in Windows 10, then try plugging it into the USB port before booting up the computer. That worked for me. I was able to access the data on many diskettes and modify files, too. If you still don't see it in Win10, then it might be required to create a shortcut on the desktop for the external diskette drive. I was unable to just plug the drive in while Win10 was already running. PnP compatible? I wonder.

Can you use this drive to reformat a disk?

Deborah ---I don't know the answer to that question. I have never tried to reformat a disk with the external USB A Drive. But, originally when an A drive was an internal part of an older computer disks could be reformatted using the internal A drive. All I can say is give it a try. Bev

Amazing product great creativity in the unboxing letter they have told everything about the desk and I really helps to work it out please try to use it on a windows 10 PC as windows 11 new PC's it's quite difficult to even find the floppy drive on it
