Tell Me Lies [Wall, Melissa] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Tell Me Lies Review: Review for Tell Me Lies by Melissa Wall - Melissa Wall's style of writing is like none I have encountered before being both darkly humorous and incredibly empathetic all at once. One-to-one, down to earth phrasing keeps the reader engrossed to the very last page in this remarkable story of an ordinary girl with as many troubles as any other, now facing the possibility that her past is a lie and that her future may be beyond belief. Honor is a protagonist that any reader could connect with. Dreading school, liking boys, and often getting fed up with her whelpy little brother; in the course of such a normal life some very abnormal things start taking place. Struggling to control these changes and her emotions while investigating how her life truly went and what others' plans for her are, Honor's character shines through and ties the whole story together to create an excellent read. A big hearted protagonist, complex, credible antagonists, and a story that sticks, I truly do hope to see a sequel someday. Review: TELL ME LIES - OUTSTANDING! - There are not many books that I sit down and read cover to cover. I hated doing book reports in school so there was a lot of page skipping. I can say that this is the first book in years that I've read page for page. The character Honor is your typical outcast in school. This I can identify with. So many aspects of her life I could compare to mine. I think that's what drew me right away. The development of the character was constant and well paced. Her problems and the frustrations of her life were drawing, making me want to keep turning the next page to see how things were going to develop. As you get to the last page you realize that there has got to be another book. I can see that there will be many more books to this new sequel. This one book you're going to want in your personal Library. Highly recommended by me and my friends. Congrats to Melissa Wall, a young Canadian Author.

didnt put it down
i have to just start by saying that i havent been able to push myself through any one book since i read the chrysalids in grade 8, but when i read this book, now 19 years old myself, i seriously didnt put it down. this book was comical and enjoyable enough for me to hold onto it and never get tired of reading what was going on. any event or thought process in this book is interesting and the plot in this story is one that actually pulls through the entire way and gave me the sense of interest. for a person who simply does not read books,,, this one sure did keep me hooked.
