Bird Parrot Carrier Travel Carriers Lightweight Pets Birds Travel Cage with Perch

My parakeet loves it.
...and so do I. We use it almost daily. Rather than leave her alone when the dogs and I (lab-service, pom-pet) walk out for errands or for any reason she pops into her carrier and comes right along with us.Although there is a built-in perch she jumps down onto a soft rug for the somewhat bumpy parts of the trip, back up onto the perch when we stop or go into a store.I know little birds are supposed to be kept quiet and caged at home, but this girl seems happier sinceshe got her carrier and goes everywhere with us.She and the dogs are quite compatible and happy to spend all day together whether at homeor out and about.Carrier is light and easy to hangaround my neck. Plenty roomyenough, especially for just her.Right now she's perched, but will hop down soon as we take off again to go out. I have a tiny little jar for water with a lid whichI screw on while we're moving and remove when we're stopped somewhere. Also she has seeds loose and other foods laid out on a small tile. I think she's happy in her busy little life with us. The carrier has brought us all even closertogether.

At first my bird didn't know what to think as he went for a ride. He got to see more than his regular cage. However the design needs a sturdier floor. The perch was too wide for his feet so he kept falling off around a curve. I spent the $$ and got him a rope perch he can sink his claws in to to hold on to. I did find little plastic cups with lids to velcro down to the floor so he can have food and water on a trip. Felix likes this new mode of travel!BAD: the film on the front and back - it is a pain to remove...

Serves its purpose well
My conure isn't a huge fan of getting into this thing but once he's in it he doesn't seem to mind it. It's very easy to clean, especially the clear sides. I lay newspaper down on the bottom to keep that clean as I can see where that might be a little harder to clean. It sometimes feels flimsy but I've had no concerns with taking my bird outside with it (he does not have his wings clipped). I like that it has a carrying handle and a shoulder strap. This was definitely a good purchase and despite it feeling a little flimsy and the bottom potentially being harder to clean I still feel comfortable giving this 5 stars.

Dangerous for your little one
This product is very flimsy and keeps trying to pop the cover off the dowel (which makes the carrier fold in on my bird). It hurt her wing the last time it folded up on her.

Highly recommended for ease and convenience.
This is a fantastic travel carrier. I don’t usually cage my African Gray when we are in the car, however, we started with a new vet that requires that your bird is caged. I actually didn’t place him in the carrier until we arrived. The only assembly was the adding the perch, otherwise all it takes is to zip the zipper. My bird didn’t mind it at all. I definitely recommend this carrier.

Ehhh....
So I got this bird carrier last minute so I could bring home my new cockatiel. It definitely did the job, I will say that. My main issue with it is it’s cheaply made and won’t last long at all. I’ve only used it once and the plastics already all bent, dinged up and creased. It unfolds which does make it easy to clean, but I feel like every time I unfold it I’m getting one step closer to never getting it back together again. If you need a quick and cheap bird carrier and don’t care about quality or how long it’ll hold up then this one works fine. On the other hand, if you want a carrier that’ll last you years... keep looking.

Good starter/occasional travel cage
Worked well for transporting our cockatiel home and she actually does well if we need to use it for 1 overnight. The film was a pain to remove. We will eventually upgrade, but it works well for now.

Clear, attractive, easy to assemble. Not very safe unless you make further adjustments
So this comes rolled up. Easy to put together. Easy to pull off the protective film but that’s it. The bottom will not flatten out, causing it to be extremely unsteady. I went to pick up my rose breasted cockatoo and we had to MacGeyver the bottom with some cardboard because it was falling over and then was becoming too skinny and squishing my bird. The man at the aviary asked if I’d bought it there because he was going to refund my money. I’m going to have a piece of real wood cut to fit into the bottom and keep it but dang I wish these reviews had mentioned this problem.
