Does this work with a sheet rock ceiling?

It should work as long as you can screw a small hook into the ceiling. On the other hand, it was not overly sensitive to light up when touched with the car, and battery died after a little while...so you might be able to find a cheaper option that does the same. Have an awesome day, Dragan
