can you padlock this?

Existing hole on end flap. Re-drill to 20mm. Centre of this hole drill into main box 6mm hole. 6mm x 25mm bolt with eyelet, 2x nuts/washers/spring washers. From outside box bolt/nut/spring washer/washer. Inside opposite format. Tighten. If measurements good. Flap when locked in will go over eyelet, now a loop for a padlock. Walla !!!! Good luck. They are very robust, you won’t overload. Lead rounds are very dense and that’s what it’s designed to carry.

Yes it should….this heavy duty old school ammo box.

What are the internal dimensions please (the listing only gives external dims.)

Not got it to hand but I’d say lose 0.5mm off the external guidance.
