Its wonfeful. I love that the mats are dry erase, and double sided.

These mats are exactly what we hoped for and more! We're just beginning our collection of tabletop accessories, and these mats are a great addition. The quality is outstanding: the paper used is thick and well laminated. The pictures are vibrant and clear. The grid squares are quite big, which gives us versatility as to the tokens and figures we use. Not to mention it all comes stored in a very thick durable tube with caps. The customer service at Melee Mats is also top notch! One of our caps arrived broken inside the completely intact shipping box (Amazon's fault, not the seller's). We didn't want to send the entire kit back just for one replacement cap, so we contacted Melee Mats directly. After speaking with them, we're getting a replacement cap free of charge. Overall, we are beyond satisfied!

Very nice but a bit more reflective than I thought and the grid is a bit too faint.

Came with more than I realized. The mats are great. Definitely recommend having rolled the opposite way of side that will be used.

Having started with the one sided kind, I was already impressed by the quality and the wonderful customer service. Feeling confident enough to expand my collection of maps, these came in so quickly and are absolutely gorgeous! I have had a few different sessions using different ones, and all of them continue to work perfectly without any mess. I'm even writing a one-shot to use the watery ones before my regular campaigns call for it! The reusable stickers are a wonderful addition I keep in my DM binder for quick maps sprung on my players without losing momentum during sessions. Keep up the great work, would absolutely buy again and recommend!

I received these maps yesterday and looked over everything carefully. In the kit I received the following: ASIN: B07T44BK21 3 double-sided maps (Included the ship) 4 dry erase pens An eraser A small spray bottle Reusable items (beds, tables, etc.) The whole kit comes in a sturdy cardboard tube. Be sure to keep the tube!! The maps I received included the ship which has good detail. The maps are of good quality, they seem sturdy. If they are stored in the tube, they will come out curled a bit. Watch the video on how to remove any curling. They would be best stored flat, but that is impractical in most situations. I tried several of my own dry erase pens and they worked very well. I did not try leaving the ink on for a long period of time, but I do not think they will stain and if they do I think water or a small amount of rubbing alcohol will remove any residual ink. I will edit this review if I have any trouble with the ink staining. I am anxious to use these maps.

I purchased about a dozen 24 x 36 battlemats to compare. The quality of the manufacture of this set is excellent. The tube is generic but functional. I wish this one had "straighteners" like its competitor. The prints on here are the best pictoral prints of any I saw. I like this set more than there other as the other made the unfathomable mistake of not including a "parchment" version. The cobblestone is excellent & better than their flagstone tile version. The water does the job and I really like them all except I'm confused by why there is a beach. If they swapped out the ship & beach for the snow & sand in their other set, this set would be PERFECT

I'm an old gamer, started with 1st ed. WOTC has produced some things of questionable quality, so I was unsure what to expect. This is good quality stuff, great artwork. I bought 3 box sets because I could not find more. I highly recommend it even if you are running homebrew because (if you the DM) you might find the need for closer details in your setting. You might also find yourself in a pinch for last minute preparations on game night: grab one of these and have your PC's get through it; the quick prep can save the night.

I love these maps. They’re perfect for my nautical campaign and the fact that they include the standard dungeon/grass/parchment maps in addition to the more specialized oceanic beach/ship/water maps is a huge plus. Any lingering pigment from dry/wet erase markers is easily cleaned with some rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer

I like the selection of terrain layouts, and the smaller size then a big map is great for smaller encounters. I do wish they offered the same maps in something other then laminated sheets. A nicer material would make these a must have!
