SONGMICS Cabinet Organizer Shelf, Set of 2 Spice Rack, Kitchen Storage

Sturdy, easy to assemble, and it looks great! We bought two of these because they are so convenient. I like that it comes with two sizes.

Really great quality. Painted wood and metal legs. Sturdy. Easy to assemble - maybe 3 minutes. Doubled my space for dishes and looks cool in my modern kitchen, though I think they would look great if your style is farmhouse or transitional.

I almost sent this back. I was really unhappy when it arrived because when I opened the box...the instructions inside were to something I hadn't even ordered. So I started a 'return' on this. But then...upon further investigation of the box contents...I realized what the problem was. It wasn't the contents in the box. Turns out the instructions in the box are to a completely different item. So initially...(when I took everything out of the box and started looking at the instructions)...it convinced me that it wasn't what I ordered. (It also looks like this has been returned multiple times.) And I'm thinking the instructions being wrong is likely why it was sent back so much. Customers may have thought they had the wrong item sent to them after examining the assembling instructions. In fact though...the right item was in the box. After I took everything out of the box and started examining what was delivered against the instructions that arrived, I realized that was the problem. The instructions have nothing to do with what was in the box. What arrived is what I ordered. And these shelves are fantastic. I have 2 large pantries in my kitchen. Both pantries have pullout drawers. The problem with the drawers is that there is so much space in between each drawer that there's a lot of wasted space. So I decided that if I put these little shelves in there next to each other I would be able to stack more in there and have it be more organized. So it turns out these are going to be perfect for the job. All the hardware is included and it's super easy to assemble. I literally had both shelves put together in under 3-minutes. Instructions are not really even needed. The boards are nice and thick and durable...and they're pretty. I'm very happy that I investigated what was in the box a little more so that I didn't end up having re-sent to me the same thing I just returned. I'm having five more sets delivered today and I now realize that they'll likely come with the same wrong instructions since it's coming from the same company.

I like the size and solidity of the double shelf. I'm not stacking them as the larger one has an issue with the screws not seating tightly into the predrilled holes. Makes it just a bit wobbly so I'll have to get some longer screws. Other than that one issue, they are easy to put together, fit my cabinets and currently are holding smaller casserole dishes and such above some larger dishes. I will buy again as needed.

I take a hand full of medicine and supplements, I have things for the kids (giant jar of peanut butter) we compost, I cook homemade from scratch (recipe box and oven mit basket). My kitchen island was being to over flow with things leaving little to no work area. Then I came across this organization shelf, they had one that matches my island perfectly plus it's versatile so if I need to move things around I can. Super easy to put together comes with way more screws than you'll need and the wrench. Very sturdy, I have 2 boys who are always in the kitchen, running around the island plus 3 large dogs that like to lean on it plus scratch themselves, and everyone/thing runs into the kitchen island, the shelves haven't moved. If you find yourself running out of surface area like I did I highly recommend getting one of these. There are different styles to choice from, seems to be real wood and metal plus the amount of space it's saved me was much more than I expected.

***** ASSEMBLY TIPS Some reviewers stated they had issues with the pre-drilled pilot holes, wobbly legs and the screws themselves. I had none of these issues with my order. Others mentioned there is not much clearance to place a screw driver between the top of the shelf and the bottom of the leg. This is true. There is no cheapie short screwdriver included such as may be the case with other products. You will have about 4-5/8 to 4-3/4 inches to work with. It is easier to use a stubby or offset screwdriver. A number 2 phillips screwdriver tip works best. See photos #3 and #5. Photo #3 is the shorter leg. Photo #5 is an optional offset screwdriver. To make the screws easier to install, before attaching the legs screw in the screws about three quarters of the way into the shelf and then remove the screws. When attaching the legs only screw in enough to make the legs secure. The pilot holes on my shelves did not line up exactly center to center, but the entire holes were visible. The legs attached without issue. ***** OTHER DIMENSIONS If you have a tight fit for some objects here are some dimensions not shown in the Amazon product page: The inside dimension between the legs on both shelves is about 10.0 inches (+/- 1/16 inch). See photo #4. The inside dimension from the bottom of the leg to the bottom of the taller shelf is about 5-5/8 inches (+/- 1/16 inch). See photo #6. The inside dimension from the bottom of the leg to the bottom of the shorter shelf is about 4-15/16 inches (+/- 1/16 inch). See photo #7. ***** VERTICAL SPACE RECOVERED I have a boat of spice containers in a kitchen cabinet resulting in wasted vertical space. These shelves solved a lot of my problem. I placed a turntable/Lazy Susan under each shelf. I settled on a Copco 9 inch diameter turntable. There were some other brands available in ten inch, but that may have rubbed on the shelf legs. See photo #8. ***** OVERALL THOUGHTS The shelves look good in just about any place you will use them. The quality is decent. The shelf dimensions are clearly given on the Amazon product page so there should be no surprises such as they are too small, too short, etc. ***** MINOR ANNOYANCES Each shelf has paper labels attached to bottom of the shelf. Some paper and glue residue may be left on the shelf when the label is removed. See photo #9. There are labels that can be easily removed from wood, but this type was not used. I wont let packaging affect my overall review. It's worth mentioning. My order survived shipping thru delivery. Some reviewers complained about the shelf arrived broken. The shelves are packed in a box with no inside protection such as styrofoam. See photo #1. My box arrived in a gray shipping plastic bag.

got 4 sets since I'm spreading and stacking them for my storage shelf. pros: looks decent enough, the size is right for me. assembly is child's play, just don't over tighten as the so called wood/bamboo are all glued and pressed together. they actually give you 2 extra screws! con: but Allen screws? and a few came matte and others shiny(don't matter as it's on the underside anyway, should just provide phillips instead. the pic has only have 3 pairs and 1 of the pairs have beveled edges and not coated, just sanded, while the others are just straight and coated? repaired rejection?) one came with 2 small boards but large and small metal racks. waiting for replacement. (would have lost if I was playing OLDMAID) for the price is a 😑, for the purpose is a🙂

I love the size of these shelves, and the wood and black colors match my kitchen really well. One of my favorite things is that mason jars fit perfectly underneath! We use them for overnight oats and other food storage, so this keeps the jars easily accessible on the counter without having them scattered around or in the way. It also gives me extra usable space on top for decor or other kitchen items. Simple, sturdy, and really functional!
