Velcro Catchers Set

These worked ok I see the Velcro strap breaking in the back soon but it's okay for now the ball is also very hard like a baseball

I wasn't all too happy with this set personally. Here is the good and bad of it.The good:- The ball stuck VERY well to the velcro on the hand pads.- The ball was small so it was good for my 4 year old niece's hands.- It comes with a nice little net bag that everything fits into nicely for when you are done.The bad:- The set was made for people with smaller hands. The velcro that you put your hands in is set to extend to a point and then stop. I guess that is made to prevent the velco from getting stuck inside the pad, but if an adult wants to play with a kid, you have to give this a good yank in order to be able to get your hand in the velcro.- The ball is VERY hard. I figured it would be like a tennis ball where it's solid but can still be squeezed some. This was like throwing a rock. I worried a lot about the ball hitting my niece's head since she is still learning to catch and isn't very good at it.- The ball being smaller is good for smaller hands, but it also makes it harder for less experienced catchers to get the ball (less surface area for the pad to grab on to).- I don't think "Two larges hand pads" (that's how they write it in the description) were very large at all. There are definitely much larger sets out there.If you have older kids who catch and throw well, this may be OK and definitely a great travel set thanks to its smaller size. However I don't think this is ideal for the younger crowd (under 5 or 6 depending on how well they can catch).

This toy was just as advertised!! My 8, 7 and even 2 year old enjoyed throwing the ball and catching it with Velcro11

Not a good experience. I had bought a set similar to this but didn't pay much for it. We loved playing with it in the pool. I didn't last very long (a couple of months). I was looking for a better quality one that would hold up. This one didn't even last 30 minutes. As soon as it got wet it came apart. Very disappointed. I should have spent another $5.00 and purchased the one at the pool store.
