Owl Diaries Five Branches Books Collection Set ( Books 6- 10 ) Paperback – January 1, 2007

These books are super cute and great for students who are getting their feet wet in chapter books. The pictures provide a break from reading and give the students visuals of the characters and events. The stories are fun and kid friendly. I will continue to buy these books for my first graders.

7 yo daughter loves this series. you do not necessarily need the 1-5 books in order to have 6-10. author sort of reviews the basics in each book like the main character, that she's an owl, her likes and dislikes, and her family and school, etc.) colorful, fun drawings. nice change from other books. i think there is a unicorn series by same author.

My daughter enjoys the plot. She loves the comprehension questions at the end. The style of the font makes it less intimidating and she feels good about reading chapter books
