Works Good
Product installed easy and appears to do its job although I will not really know until there is an actual surge :)

Small, simple
Depending on what you attach them to, you may have to remove and reverse the screws that tighten it to the unit, but it's very easy to do (and mentioned in the manual). Installation was dead simple. Ideally I'll never know if it actually works, but I've learned the hard way that lightning surges CAN get into unprotected RS-232 lines, and I have an expensive audio preamp that suffered the consequences, so lesson learned.

It didn't work
I purchased this to protect our computer from a piece of equipment, and we had a surge and this device still works but the USB to RS232 DB9 Serial Adapter was damaged. Basically the device did not work.

So far so good!

Thankfully have not had to find out if it will protect against lightning but so far works fine in the system. Did not cause any problems when added in line.

It works as it should
We just started using these on all our installs that require a rs232 connection. Better safe than sorry.
