Best sounding Speaker
I put it in a Marshall DSL40 Combo, the worst amp ever, Ive played for over 50 years on all kinds of amps ......this speaker made the DSL40 a lot of fun..much better response and tones, better Distortion.

They’re Celestion Heritage 20’s(Greenbacks)
These greenbacks sound great with my SC800. I have the 5153 412 cab that these speakers came stock in. Beat the living snot out of them with my Plexis and 78 JMP 800. Now I have 2 more each in 112 cabs I use with the SC800 head.

Blew at 1/2 of rated power
Blew with a wire coming out of the center of the cone in the front the first time I cranked my DSL20CR to 1/2 full volume at the 20 Watt setting. Pretty sad because this speaker is rated at 20 watts. So it blows out at roughly 1/2 of its rated power? Never again.

Great British tone for less
I bought this speaker to use with an EVH 5150 III 50 watt EL34 head, I installed in the top in a horizontal 2x12 with a Scumback H 75. It sounds awesome. If you are wondering whether it is worth it to buy the EVH speaker to go with an EVH head, it is definitely worth it. It has the perfect response for this amp, it is smooth with just enough edge. I would like to get get another one, as the H75 has a little bit of harshness in the highs. The EVH speaker just sounds perfect with this amp.

Speaker sounds fantastic! To anyone who is wondering this speaker is rated at 15 Ohms as is stated in the description. Not the typical 16 Ohms. I contacted Celestion tech support and they said no problem whatsoever using for 16 Ohm amp speaker.

Under this disguise lies a great Greenback
In case you didn't know it, the EVH G12 is a Heritage Greenback with an EVH label. The EVH labeled speaker usually sells at a healthy discount compared to the regular Celestion. These speakers have a tight low end, smooth highs and have that classic sound we're all familiar with. Great, great speaker - clean and dirty. Celestion G12 EVH Guitar Speaker, 16 Ohm
