don't buy the other option that doesn't come with the black pipe adapter. This one is much more versatile and easy to install. The black pipe piece is not glued on, so you can adjust the position or not use at all.

Made the wife happy installing in kitchen. She calls it her crumb sucker. Works very well.

The function is nice and seems well made. However I question its ability to pick up larger objects or irregular shapes such as popcorn or different types of noodles. As I expect small foods from children and spills from dry foods should clean up just fine. Update:. I regularly use this. And I love it. If you use it to suck-up hair. Or pet fur. You can not do it all at once. You're actually better using a dustpan. Thin pieces of cardboard bigger than a quarter need picked up. This device is great for everyday dust and very small dry foods. When you install this. Make sure you can unclog it from behind. As I have had to do many times. For me I just go to my basement and fix it. But every set up is diffrent.

We added this to our living area and hooked it up to a vacuum downstairs. Love it, works great.

This toe kick looks great in my kitchen. The only problem is the durability. I’m afraid it may not last as long as I hope it should . It works great and looks great. We’ll see what happens in the future. The install was pretty simple so if it needs to replaced it won’t take much. Fingers crossed it will last a long time!

Very well made, was easy to install and most importantly the tray fit to the floor is snug, leaving no room for dust to go under the pan.

It was exactly the same as the one that was not working, and was easy to switch out. It works a charm!

Easy to install and works great

Installation took me all of 2 minutes. There is an adaptor (included) that allows you to easily connect your vacuum line (usually a short hose, not solid tube) to. The adaptor can be positioned anywhere from 90° - 270° radius (approx). I used a pipe clamp to connect the hose to the adaptor/dust pan, connected the two low-voltage wires, installed two screws and that was it. The small opening of this dust pan allows dust and other debris to be vacuumed inside very quickly. Operation of this pan is as simple as flipping the foot switch from left (off) to right (on) and right (on) to left (off). This unit is loud when in operation, but the sound it makes isn't that bad for 5-15 seconds. I 100% recommend this unit. If you need a face plate, there is one that fits this Cen-Tec sweep pan. It's used if you have a larger cutout than what the size of this unit is. In my case, I was replacing a different model inlet dustpan with this one and this one isn't as tall (2.5") where the old one was at least 1/8" - 1/4" taller. Width is the same though.

So glad I was able to replace my auto dustpan - even better I could get black !! easy to install
