Not Junk!!! Correctly installed they work great
Works great as described. As long as you use the 110v that is required. If you try using a 12vdc power source you get a quiet buzz and no light (probably why others think they bought junk) With a 110vac power source they illuminate and have a loud(not deafening) alarm Completely satisfied

Good alarm for the price
The alarms worked as advertised. They were well packaged and came on time. I took 1 star off because the screw terminals feel flimsy and move around (even after tightening) and the white painted symbol on the colored housing was light in some spots. These get really warm behind the panel mount while in use.

Great alarms
They all work. When they are on, they sound like smoke alarm in your home as opposed to buzzing alarm, and they blink. This was a good value purchase for me.

Work.
Used for septic pump system with indicators too. Loud - hear them everywhere. Was able to dampen the loudness for the "Pump is running" audio indication - if you don't hear this one during laundry time - check the septic!

Be careful if box mounting.
These are nice units for the price, not very loud, but that was perfect for my application. Probably not loud enough for a factory or other noisy setting. My biggest complaint is that I intended to install inside of an electrical box with just the light portion on the outside of the box. To do this requires attaching the wiring first and feeding through the box hole, but because of the side mount wires, this is nearly impossible as the lock nut cannot pass over the side mount wires. Units would be perfect if they had prewired leads that extended directly from the back. Hence 3 stars.

Loud and annoying!
Good light and quite loud and annoying, which is the intend of an alarm buzzer. Does the trick, believe me.
