I decided to try these, despite close to half the reviews being less than favorable. I am so glad I did. I have a Dexcom G6 monitor and it fits over it beautifully. It was easy to put on and, even though I forgot I was wearing it in the shower and rubbed over it with the washcloth, and the towel afterwards, the edges did not lift up. I was also worried that the adhesive would be a problem since I do have a problem with adhesive is not sticking and/or causing a rash on my skin and sensitivity. These have given me no problems whatsoever. Most of the time I forget, it’s even there. I was a bit worried based on the comments that I did up using more than one cover for application of monitor, but that is not the case. The patch stays on tightly and is easy to get off by using an alcohol wipe, as I lift it up and swipe. That’s necessary anyway to clean my skin afterwards. if I could give these 10 stars I would. I Purchased the skintone ones.

These cgm covers are waterproof, and work AMAZING! Lasts the full 10 days between sensor changes. My daughter's favorite covers!

I wanted to try this product to protect my G6 over the summer because I'm very active outdoors and I wanted to keep the transmitter clean and dry. I had a 15 year career involving skin and wound care and know how to prep skin to make sure adhesive properly sticks. I've tried the patch in two different locations (the first patch came off partially and was actually holding water against my skin in the little pocket it made, so I had to remove the sensor and all 4 days after application because while it didn't stick to my skin, it stuck to the adhesive fabric around the sensor and tore the whole thing off, so out $100 there plus the price of the patches) and have even shaved the areas where I use it, despite having no body hair there in hopes that maybe I'd be removing any dry or dead skin cells that might make the adhesive less effective. I don't have oily skin and haven't been sweating, swimming, or doing anything involving debris or dirt. The first time I took a shower wearing one, it basically reacted to water like a soggy fabric bandaid and took most of the evening to dry out. I hoped for better results and tried a second patch with the new sensor I had to insert in a different location, but last night after 5 days had to remove the patch because the edges had all peeled up at least half an inch and were getting caught on clothing, which I thought would make the situation worse. I will say, this time the sensor and transmitter were still dry, but I was a little surprised by the actual design of the patch, which just leaves part of the paper you peel off in the center as a barrier so it won't stick to the transmitter. It crinkles a lot and feels very much like if you taped a bandaid wrapper to your skin. I ended up using tiny nail scissors to snip away the patch around the outside edges of the sensor's fabric adhesive area to try to preserve the sensor, because come on. The patch won't stick to my skin, but will stick to itself and the actual sensor's adhesive fabric. I'll stick to the Dexcom over patches they'll send you in the mail for free and try to figure something else out for summer activities. Wish me luck.

These do a good job at protecting Dexcom sensor hardware, but they don’t stay on for more than 3-4 days, even with adequate skin prep and even when using this brand’s ‘Skin flu’ product to help promote adhesion. These aren’t CGM-specific either. It’s a large patch designed to cover multiple types of sensor devices. Their solution to not having the patch stick to your sensor is not to peel the middle section of protective paper off, which wasn’t exactly comfortable to me.

I love the idea of these and they work great for about 5-6 days but the glue starts to let go after that. If they could fix that so I don’t have to trim the flap off that’s lost glue and continue to loos adhesive, it would be a 5

We used this to cover my 7 year old’s dexcom and she liked the way it made her dexcom just look like a bandaid. It did take a lot of bandaid remover to take it off but that was expected.

I got these patches with the hopes they would stay on my arm for the entire ten days, and 4 days into my 10 days the patch was hanging off my arm.

We use these for my preschooler’s Dexcom sensor. These are our favorite patches, because they hold sufficiently for the full 10 days and they help the sensors to not fall off. They also help to create a smoother surface so that my child can more easily dress herself and use the restroom independently without the sensor catching on her clothing. However they’re not so overly sticky that they cause pain when they are removed.

Awesome some over patches , no more worrying about pulling off my sensor no mater where I put it! Easy on and stays on even after many showers. The patch in my picture has been in for 10 days ready to change. Highly recommend

These are a game changer. My son has a G6 CGM and we had the issue of the adhesive coming loose. Since getting these we haven't had to change one early

I was disappointed with these patches. I am blind and I removed one of the patches from the box and felt what I assumed were perforations for each of the 3 parts of the patch. Wrong! The plastic side has the perforations, not the adhesive part of the patch. I am able to insert my sensor independently, but now I will have to get assistance from a sighted person to cut each section of the patch. Very deflating when trying to do things without relying on a sighted person.

I am very impressed with these patches. I usually have issues with allergic reaction to medical tape adhesives and bandaids but not to these. I bought bright yellow and I love that my sensor doesn't get sticky. double thumbs up. I can work hard, play hard and the patch still holds up without making me itchy. These are awesome.
