#20 filter sand is what is called for in your BestWay sand filter, though there are other options

Q: Has anyone used this in an aquarium? IF so how much do you use and what size is your tank?

36 gallon bow front aquarium is what I have and one 50 lb bag gave me a 3 inch sand bed.

Q: Will this work for a salt pool?

It will work for any sand filter.
