I wonder how this compares to the kuhn rikon epicurean, which i came to buy until i saw this one... anybody have experience with both?

I have tried both and the Mannkitchen garlic press is superior to the Kuhn Rikon. I purchased the Mannkitchen garlic press and have had it for a couple years and use it a lot. I LOVE IT and have recommended it to others who also love it!

Is this suitable to press ginger also

It's as capable as any garlic press for crushing ginger but we don't advertise it as a ginger press. Due to the fibrous nature of ginger it tends to leave more residue behind than garlic.

Does this have a warranty? The last garlic press my girlfriend had she broke it within 2 weeks.
