Alba BotanicaShampoo, Plumeria Replenishing, 12 oz

I have been using this shampoo for many years and will stay with it forever. I color my hair and this shampoo does not strip color. You do not need to use much. The scent is heavenly and long lasting.It keeps your hair very soft and shiny but you retain fullness. I use it together with the Plumeria conditioner.

This product smells great. However, it does make my hair feel clean.

This is my favorite shampoo and conditioner. I have very fine but wavy and frizzy hair. This makes my hair very soft and smooth. I love it.

Fragrance is great but it wasn't all full.

I’m a fan of alba products and really wanted to like this shampoo and matching conditioner. My hair is medium length and kind of fine. As I’m approaching forty I’ve noticed a difference in texture and slight thinning in the crown of my head. With that being said, I liked that shampoo and conditioner didn’t weigh my hair down and give me helmet head. Also, no static...which is a big issue for me after heat styling even with the best of products. The lather while washing was decent too. What I could not get passed was the smell. It doesn’t smell like plumeria at all. It’s god awful and clings to my hair for DAYS...no exaggeration. I thought that it was just me. Like maybe I’m sensitive to the smell or something but I’ve never been one of those people. I love fragrant things! But when both my husband AND teenage son (who is oblivious to everything) both told me that I smelled like a cheap old lady air freshener I knew that it wasn’t my nose, but the shampoo’s fragrance. I don’t really have an issue with the actual formula just the scent. I don’t recommend this at all unless you’re going for cloying, inescapable, floral overload. I do, however recommend alba’s coconut moisture shampoo and conditioner. It’s a very similar formula and the fragrance is not offensive at all.

Horrible! Does not smell like plumeria and was like pouring water in my hand. Very watery

This made my hair even more dry and brassy. Conditioner didn’t even help either since my hair would get tangled and rough. Has a bad odour as well. Would not recommend this

This is a great shampoo for coloured hair and it leaves it soft and manageable and it is a nice light scent.👍

Perfect product for coloured hair.

Took almost a month for delivery.......all three bottles arrived leaking and contents appear watery.
