Great value.
This is a great value and works great despite the bad reviews. Just use your own longer rope if needed otherwise this is a great tool to have for trimming branches way up high in a tree. It is sturdy, easy to use and the right weight.

Works Ok for Medium Height. Good Product Support's Response
The saw is sharp but if the tree branch is too high and thick, it will be hard to do it because the longer the pole extended, the more wobbly and more tendency to bent with longer poles. The saw can be used more effectively only if the branch is low enough. If I remember it correctly, to use the saw, I could only have 3-4 poles combined maximum (about 10 feet) otherwise the combined poles would be wobbly. I used the manual cutter to cut the higher thin branches, it's easy to do, although I had to add the rope extension myself, the provided rope was too short for more than 3 poles. Having a very long pole is useful somehow to cut thin branches however unfortunately I never got to use the full 26' length to cut the thicker branches. I don't think there's a lightweight pole out there which can be extended up to 26' and it can stay straight when sawing or pulling the rope/pulley; if there were then the pole would be very heavy. When extending with 5 or more poles, it is heavy due to physics and torque, so it's better to have another helper person. I lost the nut & bolt to mount the saw blade and the seller was very responsive in my case and sent me the replacement. Good service.

Long and manageable
I was looking for length, 20' + and light enough to be manageable. This product delivered. I like the fact that you can add length in 4' increments. Gives you just what you need. When in full length I had to add some rope to the pull. Not a big deal. Cutter works well. Cutter works easiest among the branches without the saw, which would get hung-up on an adjoining branch. Takes some use to figure what is best. Saw angle to the pole can also be a bit fiddley relative to the branch you are cutting. Long saw cut is the best nt short choppy movement. This too take some use to figure what is best.

COMPLETE GARBAGE
Not just the worst tool purchase or even worst Amazon purchase ever, but quite possibly the worst purchase of any kind I've ever made. For starters, what idiot gives you an eight foot rope for a 26 foot pruner? After tying a rope from a 14 foot pruner to this rope... it's still too short!... and their rope snapped off of the pruner!! The sticks bend too much and feel like they will most likely snap, it's highly unstable, and many if not most of you will never physically be able to lift it into position. Because it's so unstable and bends so much you can only cut directly vertical over your head. This will injure your neck, as well as make it next to impossible to actually see what you want to cut. One word summary: WORTHLESS!!! Three more words: YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Lots of cursing but it does work
Honestly I bought this product because it was cheaper than the tree guy quoted me to remove two 3โ branches that broke over our swing set. At low heights the thing works great but once you get to the full length of the pole itโs like trying to cut with a wet noodle due to the excessive flex. After lots of cursing it got the job done due mainly to the sharp blade. As for the blade... Itโs sharp but unnecessarily thin and flimsy. It bent halfway through my first cut and I had to heat and beat it back flat with a torch. Itโs a shame that they skimped on the blade or this thing would actually be a great value.

Excellent Tree Trimmer
I needed to trim some tall pine trees to clear an antenna and this worked perfect. I borrowed a tool from the gardener but it didn't work well but it was s snap using this tool. I didn't have to use the included saw as the cutting tool worked well. I just had to extend the rope. I would highly recommend using this tool for trimming tall trees.

It's heavy, the rope is maybe 12 feet, and it broke during the first use.
So first time out I only used the saw piece with 1 to 2 extension poles. It's fairly heavy using it up high, and due to the lack of rope guides and lack of weight / tension on the rope. the rope routinely fell in front of the blade as I am trying to cut limbs. So the rope got partially sliced through, and that was with me trying to be cognizant of keeping the rope away from the blade. Which is pretty much impossible with it even that high in the air (Using two or more extension poles puts the rope out of reach). Then as I am cutting through a branch two rivets pop on the pole with the saw on it. Leaving the saw dangling in the tree... lovely. I managed to knock the saw out of the tree without killing myself or anyone around me, and then proceeded to jimmy the pole saw back together. I removed the sheered rivets, and replaced them with a skinny bolt that I found laying in a junk drawer, that was threaded into a piece of metal, and managed to finish the job. I picked up a replacement rope (1/4" is what I got but it seems a tad thicker than what it came with. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F6DTK53/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I also used a light piece of PVC tubing I had laying around, a pair of hose clamps / aviation clamps to clamp the PVC to the pole saw and threaded the new rope through the PVC tube (I could not find a cheap rope guide to mount on a pole easily), and added a heavy washer below that on the rope to keep tension on the line. I haven't used it since my modification but when assembled now the rope seems to stay clear of the blade now, even when waiving it around and operating the "scissors" on the pole saw. I am probably going to have to pack a few more of those bolts in the bag incase other rivets decide to pop on that thing. If the manufacturer takes my notes and implements them my recommended changes they should pay for testing, and R&D to improving their product. Take away use stronger rivets or replace with bolts, Add rope Guide(s), weight or tension mechanism to keep rope away from saw blade. Attached are pictures of my fabulous jimmied modifications.

Long reach, a bit unweildy
This is solidly built and can definitely reach up really far. Once you get a few of the sections on, it gets hard to control the head way up in the air. The string on the cutter isn't long enough to reach once you have a few sections on so prepare to tie on an extension rope. Overall it works well and I am not dissatisfied. I would.buy it again. If you don't really need one this high, one that extends will be better than this as it's easier to extend/collapse a shorter/extendable one compared to this one where you have to screw individual le gths together to get the length. But you can't beat the height you can reach with this long one.
