Easier to thread than a standard needle, especially with thick thread
I have used these needles for sewing closely woven material with thicker thread than the normal. Thicker thread is harder to get through a normal eye, unless you use a thicker needle with a larger eye, but then you have difficulty getting the needle through, and I have resorted to using pliers. But these self-threading needles alleviate that problem to some extent. However not completely easy to thread. I would recommend these needles, but long delivery time on a slow boat from China.

Neesles too difficult to use.
I bought these needles because I thought it would make my life easier. However, I found that they were not self-threading. I wished to send them back. Found that they came from China and that I would need to pay the return postage. I decided that it would not be worth it.

Easy for me to thread as I have poor eye sight and that's a big help to me as I love doing my embroideryI wish to say thank you to the seller for sending them straight out I got them before now but only just had time to let you know I received them ok.

Not very good
Unfortunately every time I have tried to use these the thread just snaps hen trying to thread the needle, I’ve tried lots of types of thread with the same result

Useless - They don’t work
Thread breaks when attempting to place in needle.Need magnifying glass to see the receptor.Not worth any stars but you can’t submit a review without at least 1 star.???

Good if seeing to thread a needle is difficult, whether it’s your hands or eyesight.
Very easy to thread but easy to undo when pulling through thick fabrics. Better for your average repair jobs.
