IO Crest SY-SPL31043 Mini 2 Port HDMI 1.3 Splitter 1-in-2 Out

Worked right out of the box as advertised. Switches automatically to the most recently powered-on device. Didn't even need the AC adapter as it seems to work fine drawing power over the HDMI cables. No immediately obvious loss in detail. Currently only using it with 2 devices but see no reason why it wouldn't handle 3 more should I get more things to connect to it. Definitely a good buy at the price point.Word of caution: if a device like a satellite receiver or cable box only goes to "sleep" and doesn't fully power off, the bright LED's on the front will stay on which may be problematic if you intend to use it in a bedroom as I did. I was able to remedy this by simply using the second HDMI port on my TV and only connecting my other 2 devices to the switcher. For this reason, I deducted a star. Otherwise, I would have given it a full 5.

Generally works as expected. A few notes though:1) Does NOT come with two USB 3.0 A to B connector wires. You will likely have to buy those separate.2) Keyboard switching does not work for me. This could be due to me using a USB hub, or maybe a different keyboard than the manufacturer expects. Either way, I just use the switch on the device itself and that works fine.3) It works with a USB hub, if you want to switch over more devices, plug them all into a hub, then plug the hub into the switch. It works just fine.

everything mostly works and transfer at a good rate.the hotkey function does not work and syba does know about this.i have emailed them to answer if there was a workaround like drivers or what. all they answered is that they are aware of the issue and that they are working on it. With that said I would still buy it again...I do some advanced computer science work so my HID device are unusual. That being said the hotkey switching did not work for me. (I have machines on OS X, Kali, and Windows 10). Also...it is much lighter than I expected....But if you are not shure wether to get this one or a more expensive one...just get this one, you won't be disappointed (note: no cables included)

I have problems selecting the usb cable I want to use. The button changes the lights but is not consistent. I am trying to feed two different cables into a KVM USB port for keyboard usage. USB --> USB switch --> KVM as keyboard selector. hdmi --> hdmi switch --> monitor

Looks better than it feels, seems pretty cheap. Seems to be lasting and I use it regularly. It is just a switch after all.

Works well, but as many of the other reviews note, the hotkey function is worthless, at least in windows 10

I specifically purchased this to switch between two computers using my Logitech keyboard/mouse, using a single Bluetooth dongle. Issue number 1, it does not come with the necessary cables to connect it to both computers. Issue number 2, the hot key feature does not work correctly in my configuration.After some testing, it appears that the Scroll Lock + Scroll Lock hot key only works from the target PC you wish to switch to - Meaning if you don't have a keyboard connected to both computers you are unable to switch between the PC's using the hotkey and are forced to use the physical switch on the SYBA device. I guess if you wished to switch between another type of device, like a USB HDD or Printer, this would work.This is both a design and marketing flaw......BOOOO SYBA!

Man braucht auf jeden Fall genug Kabel. Für jedes eingehende UND für das ausgehende auch.Immer das Gerät, welches zuletzt eingeschaltet wurde, wird angezeigt. Wird dieses ausgeschaltet oder betätigt man die Select-Taste am Gerät, zeigt es das zuerst eingeschaltete wieder an.Das jeweilige Lämpchen leuchtet, wenn es Strom vom eingehenden Gerät bekommt und NICHT das Gerät, das gerade übertragen wird. (Bisschen unlogisch, vielleicht hat diese Funktion ja für andere einen Vorteil, trotzdem erfüllt es seinen eigentlichen Zweck).

Will not switch between computers until one is physically disconnected. Complete waste of money and time. Tested for over an hour. One computer is usb 2 and the other is usb 3. The switch always connects to the usb 2 computer until it is unplugged from the switch, then the switch will recognize the usb 3 computer. The hot key feature does not work either.
