Great quality, lasts a long time
The Ultegra chain is a solid piece of machinery. Smooth shifts and seamless integration with the rest of the drivetrain components โ even if they aren't Shimano Ultegra. Interestingly, I have this chain on a SRAM 50/34 crankset with Ultegra Deraillerus and an Ultegra 11-28 cassette. No issues whatsoever. Everything shifts buttery smooth, once you get it all dialed in. These chains long time, though I swap mine out every few years to keep the rest of the drivetrain fresh. Only complaint? I wish this chain used a masterlink for easier install and repair, especially if you're out on the road. Instead, it has a connecting pin and you'll need a chain link tool to install. They are not expensive and super easy to use. Just YouTube the process.

Good product and good shipping
I haven't installed the cassette yet, but it is labeled as the correct one for my 14 year old S-Works bike. I have used this 6700 11-28 for several replacements of the original and very expensive DuraAce (about $150 more). No reason to spend the extra unless you are racing and a weight wennie. Don't bother asking me about compatibility to your bike, I won't know (too many options). Ask: your bike shop, google, or YouTube

Lightweight, lasts forever
Bought mine in 2018, still have it on my old 2014 aluminum Trek Madone. Just replaced the derailleur today at about 20,000 miles, chain has about 10,000 miles on it and still going strong.

Chain pin missing?
Wow, Shimano, canโt even supply the connecting pin any more? I hope the rest of it works as I expect.๐ง

Easy to install. Change your chains often so you won't have to change other parts...
I get Ultegra because it's worked for me for the last few years. I've got an Ultegra cassette and front gear and front derailleur set. The rear-derailleur is Dura-ace, but I find it hard to fork over the dura-ace price of a chain when my Ultegra chains have worked great for as long as I can recall. A few years ago, i rode about 2,000 miles without checking anything. Had to spend a bunch to change everything... Now, I change my chain promptly, and I have been riding with the same rear and front gears for the last 7,000 miles or so with no noticeable wear. Get a chain wear gauge such as the Park Tool Chain Wear Indicator CC-3.2 and check the wear on your chain. Once the 0.75 side gets in, time to change your chain. If the 1.0 side gets in, time to change your rear cassette (pricey). If the 1.0 side gets in and is wobbly, time to change the front gear as well (even more pricey). To install this chain, you will need a chain breaker such as a Park Tool Mini Chain Brute Chain Tool - CT-5 and put it in your under-saddle bag. If you ever have a chain break on a ride, you will be able to fix it enough to get home...

Looks and rides good
My old chain was skipping so I got this one to replace it. The whole replacement process (with the chain tool) took maybe 5 minutes. The chain comes neatly packaged and greased. I've used it now for a few months and hundreds of miles with no issues.
