Tastes like Thai Ice Tea!
This DOES taste like Thai Ice tea. You do have to use a lot (5 tsp per one cup water), which is also the case with any Thai Ice tea though. It's nice because it doesn't have artificial coloring and you can control how much and what type of sweetener to use. I been using unsweetened soymilk and monk fruit and it's definitely been quenching my craving for Thai ice tea without all the excesses. I found it easier to make it in smaller batches with a metal tea pod things so I could steep for as long as I wanted and not have the hassle of straining it off. I will be purchasing more.

Tastes so Legit but sugar, red 40, and milk free!
I grew up on Thai tea from the markets, the bottles, the cans, at restaurants, from the mix packets, so I know what a “legit” Thai tea tastes like. After having to stop drinking milk, and avoiding red 40 (artificial dyes) and cutting down on sugar I right I would never have a good tasting Thai tea ever again. I was craving some Thai tea really bad the other week and thought that just MAYBE I would find something that fit the bill here on Amazon. Lp and behold I came across this tea, which is a larger cost upfront but I was willing to give it a try. I used 5 tbsp to brew just under two quarts of tea, which will get me at least 6 servings, so for the cost per serving I think the price is good. I sweetened it with stevia and added plant milk, and look at the color! Not quite as bright as an artificially colored Thai tea but definitely had that distinct orange. And it tastes really legit too! I’m crying holy tears over here. Thank you for making this tea mix!

Light flavor
I been trying to look for a healthier thai tea without the artificial dyes. The ingredients to this one doesn't have any dyes. Flavors are lighter and not your typical thai tea flavor but the tea still smell good. Tea is a brown orange but once you put creamer in it, it will look like milk tea. It says to soak for 3-5 minutes. If you soak longer, it will be more bitter but once you add the milk and sugar, you can't even taste the bitter. It's not going to taste exactly like the regular thai tea but close and it's still good. You just have to know how to mix it.

Delicious healthy alternative
UPDATE: It's been a month and a half since my very first order, and I'm currently on my second bag. I'm happy to say I have finally perfected it (to my taste) and even got my husband hooked! I'm more addicted now that I know it's "healthier" 😩😩😩Seriously can't stop raving about this tea!! So I'm a Thai bubble tea addict and have recently found out how bad the delicious orange drink actually is for you. I came home one day (after going out for bubble tea) and decided to try and find an alternative without all the added sugar and food coloring in the ready mixes. This is the only tea I found with natural ingredients, and although it's a bit pricey I decided to go ahead and order it anyway. I just received it an hour ago. I opened the package and instantly was surprised by how good it smells!! I brewed my first cup over ice and added a little coffee mate original creamer and WOW!!! It's SOOO good. I obviously haven't perfected it yet, but the flavor (and color) is definitely there! I brewed a tea pot and it's currently chilling. I suspect that it will taste even better once it's cold and served with less ice. The ONLY complaint I have it the price. I wish it was cheaper because I know I will be buying more in the future.

Authentic flavor & no artificial color
This tea is amazing! Authentic flavor without the artificial color. I have a dairy allergy, so added some sweetened condensed oat milk and topped it with a little hemp milk. Absolutely faaaaabulous!

Finally, a natural Thai tea that I can drink hot or cold!
Perfect taste and smells heavenly! I love that is it loose tea leaves and no bags. It’s easy to decaf it by pouring a little hot water through the strainer for a few seconds. Then I still get a pretty good large travel mug of tea. I can’t stop buying this tea and sharing it with many friends. They now buy it, too! Great company that makes a fantastic tea I drink daily! I can even mix in with my Indian tea for more flavor.

Changed tea?
Like some reviewers said, this tea was a miss. I’ve bought this before and it used to be very flavorful and a slightly orangey color, but this batch I got as of Summer 2026 was…. Weird. It was brown and tasted strange, not at all like what it used to be.

Not red, only vanilla added
Lacks the variety of flavors in traditional cha yen. And the natural coloring doesnt seem to work at all. Just comes out brown.
