really good soap in a good sized container. the color takes in very good and doesn’t stain if properly buffed out. a very gentle cleaner that doesn’t leave any grit or abrasions. we use it for leather shoes and bags

Anybody with an extensive black boot/jacket collection or black upholstery, this would be my go to. I bought it for two reasons: My wife's dwindling collection of black boots and my two black jackets. Great stuff for both. The lather is really peculiar. Black suds are a strange phenom: a little hard to see, and if you've ever used a gloss shoe polish and gotten it everywhere, you will naturally be terrified of this product while using it, but the lather and black stains I got on the floor, table, my legs, socks etc. Well.. it all wiped right off. At the end of the day, it's just soap. I really like Fiebings saddle soap, in general. It's my favorite right now so this one, for me, is a no brainer. It also comes in white and standard, which i think is the best overall.. Good value, i think.

I was given a 30 year old black leather Coach computer bag that had stains, scratches, and faded edges. It was dry and hadn’t been conditioned. I filled the bag with paper to fix the shape, used this saddle soap to cleanse the entire exterior gently with a soft horsehair brush, used a soft cloth to remove any residue, then when it was semi dry I massaged Leather CPR on it and the bag looks incredible. The bag had a deep dent in the flap and I massaged it smooth while it was wet from the saddle soap. Lays flat now. It even gently colored the faded parts on the edges of the bag where the suede was slightly exposed. Highly recommend for black leather. I’ll be using this now for shoes and jackets.

I use this on my tall riding boots. Really brought the life back into them! No bleeding once completely dry, definitely wear gloves while cleaning with it though.

Just like the original. Very good product.

This probably works good for shoes it didn't work too good on my Corbin motorcycle seat

Left a wet jacket on my back black leather seat in my car and it left white stains. This product completely restored it. Plan on doing all the seats in the car. Amazing!

I read lots of other reviews before buying this product. I specifically wanted something to restore a vintage Coach purse. I bought this and was extremely pleased. After application, the purse looks brand new. I would highly recommend this product. My only problem is that the container is so large that I don’t think I would use it all in two lifetimes. The pictures show my before and after of the purse. You can see that faded, worn areas are no more.

The best value for cost in keeping your black leather items looking like new! Works very well, easy to use, and refreshes worn black colour leather, to almost new condition.

This saddle soap is amazing. I’ve only ever used yellow saddle soap for leather but wanted to try black with all the scratches this vintage coach bag had. It’s easy to use, the colour of the soap is perfect for black leather only. The value of this is great, you get a huge tub, this was last me months. Highly recommend!

Does a brilliant job of bringing tired looking tack to life. I use it on my black saddles to keep them looking great.
